Space Romance
Corvin is a doctor for the galactic alliance. He is assigned to a old beaten up battleship due to an unjust demotion from a crooked general who has power. On the ship are a battalion of elite soldiers called Avanti, whe befriend Corvin and protect him from crew judgement. For reasons Never explained, the ship is attacked, rendered helpless and destroyed. Corvin and Avanti use escape pods to flee the ship and crash land on the planet (Landren??).Separately in pairs they work to reunite. Corvin and Tate are rescued by the Derwin clan , grateful that the two rescued the clan Chieftains granddaughter from kidnappers.Kidnappers, evil chieftains, Machiavellian plots, true mates, insta love ensue.I enjoyed this story but it was weird with way to many contradictory things going on.Space travel and clans aware of galaxy populations but no modern technology. Modern medical equipment, the only transport are horse like creatures. Guns and explosives but use “pony express “ style riders to send messages.Overall a very unclear picture of the world building. Also a lot of “toughest in the galaxy warriors “ who cry and swan dramatically. With all this I still enjoyed the guys fun personalities and the humor and comaraderie every much. Mpreg in this story and I sure hope it’s featured in the next ones.

loved it!!
I loved the whole story, the only downside was the overuse of “babe” as a term of endearment. It gave Kel a dude bro personality and made it harder to take him seriously. Otherwise a great read and I will be reading the rest of series!!!

So frustrating I couldn't finish it.
With only 16% of the reviewers having given this 1 or 2 stars, I figured it couldn't be that bad. I expect people not to like stuff, really, I do; but with the shortage of decently written m/m sci-fi out there, I figured it couldn't be all that bad (84% was 3-5, right?). It started out OK. Troubled medical officer struggling to fit in with the crew on his new ship, a band of bad-ass warriors who revere him even though the rest of the military types treat him like an outcast (heap-big pseudo-secret about his past), and then it all goes out the window. Or should that be port-hole? Or escape pod? Whatever. I actually kept reading for a while, despite some really annoying anachronistic phrasing (for a supposedly futuristic setting); but it all came to a head with the word "babe". Yes, that term of endearment so common in our decidedly non-sci-fi reality. It was just so out of place, so ill-fitted to this newly introduced, honor-bound warrior culture, full of huge manly-men who'd just as soon gut you as look at you, where two men together might be accepted - though not officially, and the heir-apparent needs to hide his feelings from his father... Must I continue or did I make my point? I don't usually post negative reviews, but I just had to voice my biggest peeve. Rather than the m/m adventure it was billed as, it was turning into a CWD (chicks with di@%s); the virile giant and the slender/gentle doctor - we're talking, virile giant actually tells his brother(?) he fears he might hurt the gentle doctor because he's so much smaller (read: girl-like?). Read at your own risk or if you like that kind of stuff. Sorry, but I just couldn't go on.

This is what I've been looking for!
I hesitated when I saw this. I see Science fiction and I think cyborgs, aliens and all that stuff, this is NOT that. This is romance, science fiction, fantasy, and so much more. This book is an amazing adventure where we follow a group of galaxy warriors after they crash on a strange planet. From the first moment this book captures you and pulls you in. There is adventure, romance, suspense, comedy, you get it all. The world building is unlike much seen in the gay fiction world. It grows with each word, and you long to know more about everything and everyone. The love and relationships are fun and strong. You feel the emotions, you scream at the pages. It's not just one couple either, it's a group of friends we get to know, each with a story to tell. This is just a fantastic book and I can't wait to read more from this author. This is what the gay fiction community has been waiting for.

Loved it
What a great series. I have owned and reread this series so many times along with the accompanying demon series. I love the otherworld and space aspect of it as well as the bits of military. But mainly I love the journey of each person and the continuing story of the whole group. What a journey. Lots of laughs, some tears, and suspense. I hope someday to see this in audio format. Lots of thanks to the author for the wonderful sci-fi gay romance I love so much.

A plus
Best story I have came across all year. The whole series is and will be read many times over. The author did a wonderful job with no misspelling or parts missing in it. I would say that other authors need the editor and proof readers that this author had. Amazing. I do wish that this author would put these books on audible because I would be getting them all. Good read all the way around.

GREAT, GREAT READ
I am not usually a fan of sci-fy, but this book has changed my mind. The author's beautiful imagination has created a world for her characters that carries you away into another time in another space. This new series is one that I am really looking forward to. It was easy to become involved with the main characters, Corin and Kel. Corin's physical abilities were a real surprise, but somehow they were made believable. Wonderfully entertaining story, beautiful characters, and a very enjoyable couple of hours of reading. I couldn't put it down. I understand that this is the first publication of this author, and I certainly hope it is not the last. Looking forward to more.

Bonds forged, and loves found
The characters are easy to befriend and the story is intense. The little details make it even more of an amazing story but the love, and sacrifice of everyone involved makes you hold of on till the end of each story with a happily ever after for the main couple in the book. Well, for now, since their stories are just beginning. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and after I read the rest I will most likely recommend those too.

Not a Sci-Fi fan ? You will be now.
l have just finished Corin's Chance and l have to say l feel like l've just watched a whole new Star Trek move in 4Dl am not a reader of Sci-Fi books and usually don't feel compelled to start any . However this series being M/M had me intrigued , and boy am l happy l took a chance !!!!!The sheer attention to detail is just amazing , all throughout the book l felt like l was actually there, living on that planet. The descriptions of the different named Planets, the Starships , the various Clans, and the in depth battle scenes are so good . l especially loved the Space travel, interesting medical supplies , new diseases ,and different foods ....In essence this is a story about true love , sacrifice, friendship, and loyalty with a good measure of murder , deceit and kidnapping thrown in .The emotions just jump off the pages, and the sex scenes leave you hot. The relationships between all the characters are very intense and genuine.l am truly amazed at the strength and level of writing in this book , it does not feel like a debut book at all. l am really looking forward to reading the rest of the series and finding out how the other Avanti's will find love .As for Corin's Chance , just beautiful !!!!Thank you for the recommendation .

Brilliant!
I love the detail. Great well developed storyline, incredibly imaginative. I especially loved how the writing was so good that you could easily picture the scenes in your head. Fantastic start to a new series with a great range of well thought out characters. Loved it.

It's not me, it's you
1.5☆s, rounded up because Tate was cute as.I just...couldn't deal with this book, for a few reasons.First off, I like some semblance of structure to the Points of View. Multiple is fine, just not jumping between them every paragraph & sometimes every sentence. I get that it's a style...it just didn't work for me(Spoiler warning for the rest of the review)Talk about insta-love. It was 3 days. Three days, and they were fully committed and saying the three words and fighting and etc.Sorry, but I enjoyed the story sooo much more when Kel wasn't in it. I dont know why. I just didn't vibe with him, I guess. Also, these "aliens" acted more like humans than the humans did.I officially DNF at 73%. I should've stopped when I realised that one of the main characters was what was making this so hard to read.I'm sure some people will love this story, and adore this writing style. To me, it didnt feel like Corinth story. It felt like everyone's, all the time, every second. It didn't work for me.
