Maidenform Comfort Devotion Dreamwire Back Smoothing Underwire Bra

This bra is the only bra I will ever wear ever again. Seriously! Let’s talk underwire. I wear underwire bras 24 hours a day and until I found this bra I was plagued by bras that the underwire would break or it would poke out of its little fabric pouch it’s designated area to be in and once either of those things happens your bra is dead. Well this maidenform bra doesn’t do that. The cups are firm and have a formed shape and structure to them so first of all your breasts always look round and full and shaped beautifully. Then the bottom of the cup down where the underwire is there is structured padding— not a whole bunch— just enough to completely encapsulate the underwire and lift up your breast to give the appearance of firm breasts. This bra is designed for fit, comfort, support, and function. I will never wear another bra. Don’t worry it’s not a lot of padding that gives the bra its structure.its only about a quarter of an inch throughout the main part of the cup to give smooth full coverage and firm but comfortable support and then down to the underwire it gradually gets thicker to about 1/2 inch thick where it encapsulates the underwire and lifts the bottom of the breast for a full firm round look. So comfortable. It’s like laying your breasts on pillows not reigning them into a corral with a barbed wire fence every day.

I’ve worn Maidenform products for years, but this particular style did not fit my body. I wear a 40 C, just got measured a few weeks ago, I’m 5’8” and weigh about 185 lbs. The straps are set a bit wide for my shoulders, and if they aren’t falling off, they are chafing near the armpit as other customers have mentioned. The lined cups are somewhat firm there is an awkward amount of gapping at the top of the cup (which is worse when sitting). I thought maybe if I switched up the straps criss-cross it might help with these fit issues but no. While the straps aren’t falling down, the armpit chafing is increased and there is virtually no improvement in the cup fit. Seems like a fairly well-made product, it just doesn’t fit my body very well. After two wearings, I will wash and donate.

Comfort Devotion fits well and is the most comfortable underwire bra I’ve ever worn. The fabric and thread are smooth and don’t irritate my sensitive skin. The underwire is well padded. I wear a bra 11-14 hours a day. The padding of this bra is between the wire and the ribcage where it is needed most. I bought a “padded underwire” bra from a boutique lingerie shop (not VS). I was in agony after 4 hours. Now I’m completely devoted to 5 Comfort Devotion bras. Tip from my dry cleaner… most laundry detergents have an ingredient that breaks down the stretchy threads in bras. I use Gain and they last many years. Never put a bra in the dryer.

This is unfortunate, but I’m having to leave a 1 star review for this bra (and I also include my past 2 Maidenform bras in the 1 star range) because they just do not fit correctly, and this is my measured size. The bands on all their bras I purchased were tiny, and I get it that they’re supposed to be a snug fit, and supportive, but I just find them to be painfully digging in. The first one I bought, I went up a band size - still was too tight. So I repurchased in a larger size,and the band was still too tight. And I forgot about those 2 previous purchases, and came back and ordered my bra size I wear now, and it just does not fit. Too tight round the band, and the cups are gaping. I was very loyal to the Maidenform brand, they used to have this certain model that I bought for years, and it was perfect every time. What has happened? I will not buy another Maidenform bra I can assure you of that, because it’s making me feel like I’m losing my marbles, and it’s costing money. I’m gonna try a different brand

I have been buying this exact bra for years. I love how supportive it is in the materials are good. The one con would be that I wish the shoulder straps were padded or wider because they can dig in to the skin. They’re padded and give full coverage. My go to bra!

El mejor sujetador en cuanto a comodidad, estilismo y sujeción. Hace un pecho perfecto, no marca ningún pliegue en la espalda. No sé deteriora con los lavados.El problema; es muy difícil encontrar este modelo en España. Lo compré a través de Amazon a EEUU y tardó como tres semanas. Pedí otro de distinto color y nunca me llegó, pero me reembolsaron el importe.Una pena que no se pueda acceder de forma más directa.

El mejor sujetador que he tenido. Tengo mucho pecho y la sujeción es maravillosa, cómodo y bonito. Me compré 3 más.

Absolutely love these bras. The straps can be easily changed to wear with razor back tops. And are so comfortable and look nice.
