Excellent upgrade that can be used with tons of games!
Solidly made, these come in a variety of 1, 3, 5, 10, and 20 coin denominations. Each has a different color and design. The detail makes them easy to tell apart. The 1 coins are a little bigger than a dime, and they increase in size with the amount. The 20 coins are about quarter size. Comfortable tobuse and play with. They're about as thick as a penny, I don't think there's any danger of bending them unless you're actively trying to destroy them. Bought these as an upgrade for our Gloomhaven campaign, and they have been well worth it. Off the top of my head, they can work with Scythe (obviously) but also with 7 Wonders, and pretty much any other game that uses coins as a resource. Would recommend!

Perfect coins for tabletop and board games!
Like a lot of other reviewers, I settled on these when looking for currency for the official Stardew Valley board game. We *love* these coins. They're reasonably well-made (cast metal alloy with a slight mold seam around the coin edge and a painted/glazed surface), and the designs are very cool. Each coin obviously represents an empire from the Scythe game for which this product is actually made - the $1 coin is Oriental, the $3 coin appears to be Eastern European, the $5 is Soviet, the $10 is Nordic (with Thor's hammer!), and the $20 is Germanic. All in all, this set is well worth the money. I recommend getting a sectioned plastic case to store them, so they're always ready to go with any game that requires tracking currency.

Scythebux Are The BEST Metal Board Game Coins!
These are the nicest metal coins for board games that I've found! I bought them for Scythe but use them for just about every game! Nice and heavy, they feel and sound great in the hand and look spectacular. 80 coins in five different denominations are super distinct, easy to count at a glance, and the art is super detailed. These would make a great gift for a Scythe lover, or anyone into board games. A single set has been perfect for a variety of two person games, but I'd grab a couple (well worth it if you play a lot!) if your player counts are higher.

i don't own Scythe, but I use these for all my games with money!
Great board game coins! Excellent look and feel. The weight is good. The finish is excellent quality; I haven't seen any indication of wear in the last year of use. Just toss all those crappy plastic and cardboard coins in to the bottom of every game box because you'll never need them again. I use these coins for every game I own with money needed. Oddly, I still haven't purchased/tried Scythe yet, but I do love the slightly sci-fi look to them. They also look just fine when playing fantasy themed or classic themed games too. A little bit on the pricey side, but overall decent value for money. I don't expect them to ever wear out, but I may purchase another set for games with a few more players...I haven't run out yet with any of my 2-5 player games.

Beautiful coins
I’m never gonna play Scythe but these are nice prop coins for use in other board games or gambling games. Really high quality and interesting designs.

Board gaming is better with metal coins!
These coins are really nice quality. Though they are originally for the game Scythe by Stonemaier games, I bought these as extras to use in multiple board games that use currencies. I prefer metal coins over the cardboard coins that most games come with so figured this to be a cheaper alternative rather than buying metal coins for each game I have (unless the coins are unique enough to a board game for me to warrant buying specifics (i.e. the metal coins for Flamecraft). It's the sensory of hearing and feeling the metal coins when I play my board games.

Great quality just not enough.
They are amazing. It is great quality, my only problem is there is not enough. The original car board coins are quite a few more and we are running out of coins just playing with 4 players.

I love these for almost every board game with money!
I don't even like Scythe, but I love the Scythe metal money! And how odd is that? :-D These are excellent quality metal coins with very distinct differences between the denominations, easily readable numbers denoting the value of each, and terrific hand feel. I suspect they're made primarily of zinc and as a result, have the hand feel of real money metal coins. The number of coins and the differences in denominations make these coins ideal for using with other board games that use money but unfortunately use paper money. I myself most often use these coins with Power Grid and Leaving Earth, but just about any board game that only provides paper money is a good candidate to use these coins for instead. It's a real shame that these coins are going out of print because I like them a lot!

Daher volle 5 Sterne

Nice coins, a little lighter than I was expecting but not too bad. The only major complaint is they don't really match style between them. One is like a Chinese coin, the 3s are western lettering with a polish kind of feel, the 5s have an almost Russian look. The 10s have viking like runes, 20s are Western lettering with a German flair. It would be nice just to have a matching flavour to them. Overall they are way nicer than using plastic, they make a nice clinking sound when they hit eachother.

Pratiques pour une grande quantité de jeux de société. Les pièces en métal donnent un tout autre feeling. Je les ai toujours sous la main au cas où.

The coins are made of light-weight metals with no jagged edges, and fully replace the coins provided in the base game. They could be used for other games as well, given the denominations of 20, 10, 5, 3, and 1. I have come to appreciate the value of using metal coins instead of cardboard cut out coins for all of my games, despite admitting they are expensive and unnecessary additions. If you love to play Scythe, you will love these coins and should consider purchasing the custom resources as well. Yes, these two additions cost almost as much as the base game itself.
