I am about to order this lotion and have tried two small samples of it from a friend who works for La Prairie at Lord and Taylor. This is an amazing product to use after cleansing and toning but before moisturizing. I put a few drops on my forehead, cheeks, chin and spread it around, even under the eyes. This makes the skin feel very smooth, not wet or greasy, and 'primes' it for a moisturizer both day and night. I have noticed that my moisturizer absorbs more quickly than it did before using it. It's an inexpensive lotion but it really makes a big difference and a little goes a long way. I have been using La Prairie skin products for over 6 years and my 61 year old face has never looked better!

Just started using La Prairie, so we'll see.

My wife bought this product as it is one she uses. It is the first time that she has bought it from Amazon. Great price, but each time she used this product she felt a burning sensation with stings. Despite the irritations she tried to use it as much as possible, however, she could not bear the irritation anymore. She never had that kind of response from the same brand of products that she purchased offline. She strongly feels that this is not the authentic La Prairie lotion. She is not going to buy any cosmetics from Amazon.

There is something in this particular product that causes me troubles - face turned to bright red and burning really bad.

Compared this to a bottle I bought at Saks. Product felt and smelled like plain water, no serum consistency or delicate floral scent. Box was wrong size, print was wrong in several ways. Very sad.
