I made the mistake of bundling this package with a coupon when buying my Asakuki diffuser. I trusted the reviews and customer ratings on this product; seemed like the customers were happy and even surprised with how great the product turned out.The box included combination suggestions for different DIY blends. First thing I tried was Ylan Ylang w/ Jasmine, to "create romance"! Added 3 drops of each in the diffuser, and it was HORRIBLE! The smell was so extreme and so annoying for my head that I had to clean out the water from the diffuser and refill it (the smell was still there for a while)!Today, I wanted to give it a second chance. I used the Cherry Blossom oil, but added fewer drops in there, just in case the intensity was due to adding too many drops. Again, the smell was horrible and gave me a headache. Like, I could try and tolerate it compared to the combination from yesterday but it is not something that can help bring me ease of mind or relaxation.To make sure it's not the problem with my diffuser, I used a lavender essential oil I bought earlier from Whole Foods (Of course, the price for a 15 ml essential oil was around $13 while this package that contains about 60 ml of essential oil costs around $16). I really wanted this to work out, given the price, but there is a reason it is so cheap. I learned my lesson and will be returning this item. :(

Great essential oil. I have used for diffuser. Every oil smells amazing and for long time, that I can't say for the other oils I have used before. Just 2, 3 drops in my 500ml diffuser make the job.

After 2 uses in my essential oil diffuser, I went to clean it as usual. Sticky residue that does NOT clean up from paper towel...had to use a chemical to clean whatever chemical was left behind from these oils. Never before have I had an issue cleaning my diffuser from essential oils. though they smell nice, these are definitely NOT pure essential oils.

So.. I have a diffuser? thingy that looks like a umm.. Hershey Kiss. You put water in it and drop oil in this glass thingy. The smell comes out the top in a vapor form. Oil smells ok. So yeah. Good? I guess so.

This is my second set of ASAKUKI essential oils. I have used the first (a Mother’s Day gift, along with a diffuser) for a year, and have enjoyed their fragrances and quality, as well as the handy included guide to mixing scents. They are also beautifully packaged in a sturdy storage box. When I wanted to add to my oil collection, I immediately sought out the same brand. So far I’ve only used two of the scents, but I’ve enjoyed them. I only wish they had a set which included more woodsy and herbal scents, like sandalwood, clary sage and patchouli.
