Q: Can you tell me what the diameter of the pulley is?

Not exactly i can tell you that 5-16 rope is the largest diameter rope you can use,or quarter inch rope.The size of the pulley i dont know but it comes with it in the cap.

Q: Is there a topper ball connection? No mention in the description and cannot tell from the picture.

Yes; there is a threaded hole in the top to receive the threaded shaft to connect the topper ball (or any other topper for that matter - mine is an American eagle).

I cant say for sure. We ended up up using a little longer stainless bolts to fill the gap as the pole was a liitle smaller.Think there are 3 in the cap. Just make sure if you need to use longer bolts that you run all 3 in equally ,keep the bolt heads close to the cap,may need to cut them a little,if not and you get a crazy wind you dont want the flag flying up and catching on a bolt head them having to take down entire pole,found that out the hard way.Have not had a problem since.

Q: My pole is 1.5" across and 4" outer diameter. I have wrecked the of my pole trying to remove the plastic top. Please tell me what size trunk to get.

if the outside diameter is 11/2 inch get a i1/2 light and put a pully on the pole so it will be easier to change out the flag when it wears out.
