Bought this in 'Used - Good' condition and was really pleased that it arrived on time and in good condition ( unlike individual puddle lane story books ordered).Far better value to get a collection of stories and nice because they are grouped to focus on a specific aspect of puddle lane.Not read puddle lane since my own children were small so great to revisit it next generation. Stories have not lost their magic.

purchased this plus some other of the Puddle Lane stories for my 7 year old autistic son who is starting to read but has no interest in reading plain black & white text. The stories together with the colourful illustrations keeps his interest and the stories are simple and fun. The charaters are retined throughout the stories so he gets to know them and wants to learn more. Great for reading to him as well as for him reading for himself. I know this is an very old series of books but i think these are a classic and stand the test of time.
