Work very well very high-quality product moves a lot of of air
I have installed two of these horizontally in the attic access point of my garage, utilizing them as a ventilation fan. This fan draws air from within the garage and expels it into the attic. The installation has proven effective, significantly reducing the temperature in my attic.

Great fan
It was easy to install. I'd had a mushroom type commercial fan previously that was very noisy so I looked at a lot of other fans of comparable CFM. This one was a good price and works very well. It's on a 11x14 Harbor Freight greenhouse center gable end, wired through a Home Depot whole house fan thermostat which is very precise ON-OFF at temperature control. Set at 80F, it kicks on by noon as we're at a very hot climate, southern exposure with some morning shade and 40% shade cloth on the south side of the roof.

Very good air flow and super quiet.
Installed to vent humidity from crawl space of 1500 sq. ft. area. Works very well. Did separate fan assembly from shutter assembly (4 screws, very simple) upon receiving to install 1/8 in. aluminum mesh screen directly behind shutters to keep bugs and any tiny lizards from entrance under house. This would be a great design change to the unit by the manufacturer. Super product!

Great exhaust fan for a small room
I installed this exhaust fan in an enclosed shed where I keep my pellet smoker. This fan works great for removing smoke from the interior of the shed while using my smoker in the winter

Fit into my window nicely
I had a 20" box fan in my laundry room window for years. It did an OK job exhausting hot air from the house, but I need more CFM. This fan is WAY MORE powerful, comes with shutters and I made it fit right into the same window. I added wood fillers into the side window tracks and screwed right through the pre drilled holes into the fillers. Rock solid and secure..Really cooled the house overnight.

Works well
I live in Peoria, AZ where this time of year daily temps are anywhere from 105 to 110 degrees and my garage, a 2.5 car tandem, faces exactly northwest, getting a lot of direct sunlight during the hottest part of the day. Several days a week I park a hot truck in my garage elevating the temps inside my garage even more. This fan has made a decent difference in overnight temps. Normally by morning the temp inside my garage is 10-12 degrees hotter than the outside temp. After installing this fan with a timer so it runs from 12am to 6:30am and adjusting my garage door opener to stop and leave a gap that's about 1-1.5 inches the temp in the morning is now 6-7 degrees hotter than the outside temp. Much nicer knowing the temp is now 4 to 6 degrees cooler with the help of the fan.Update: I've noticed this fan doesn't work as good with high (35%+) humidity. Now that the monsoon is here the air has become heavier/thicker with the high humidity levels and I'm lucky if the temp in my garage is 8-10 degrees higher than the outside temp. I would suggest that if you live where there's a lot of humidity all the time get a bigger/stronger fan.

Good quality
This is a great fan for our attic ventilation, 20 inch is a bit big for the average house but purchased it based on the existing inside window frame size to fit the opening. The fan is quiet and pulls a lot of air through the ridge vents keeping the attic temps cool. Quality is great and should hold up for years to come. Recommend a temperature control switch to control the fan, which will require some electrical wiring to be done. Overall very pleased.
