First impressions are pretty good.
Let me start off by saying I amnno expert in ultra light backpacking gear, however this is a fairly light and compact unit that can easily fit in the side of my kelty backpack. Weighing in at 1.9 pounds on my postal scale with rubber band and carry case.First impressions. The unit seems really good and of really good quality materials. For those who said it takes over a minute to put together we're clearly doing something wrong. Just know that the lettering is on the left side of the chair and you will have it together in about 20 seconds. And to disassemble rewrap and zip about 40 seconds. When you're sitting in the chair and you look at the aluminum poles they seem to flex slightly but not actually bend or stay in that shape once finished using. There is a slight amount of give and movement to the unit and I am by no means at Max capacity for this chair. I'm six foot one weighing in at 192 lb and at first was wondering if this chair was going to hold me. But I sat in it for over an hour while watching television adjusting my position leaning to each side and back slightly as well as putting my feet up having the chair support my whole weight. It performs well. I will see how this holds up over the next few camping trips and backpacking through hikes and it just my review as needed. The comfort of this chair is pretty nice for the first 30 minutes but then you can feel pressure on your hips of the canvas sort of squeezing you. So4 non extended rest and up and down around camp this is perfect but as far as sitting down and relaxing for a long peeiod of time I don't know how this would work out. Then again it sure beats the ground, cold Rock, or small pad. You really cannot beat itnfornthe price. 2 chairs for under 50 dollars when some cost twice as much for 1.** I reserve the right to update at any time this review if I need to, and I paid full price to purchase this product so there is nothing requiring me to review in anyway this review is purely my own pure opinion on the product I purchased and recieved **PS if you found this review helpful please remember to give it a "thumbs up" so others are able to see just how helpful this review may be if they too rely on the experience of others, thank you! :)

Don’t buy if your a biggin
I’m 6’3 280 lbs,I know I’m not small but this says it will hold over 300 lbs but it doesn’t tell you how terribly uncomfortable you will be and how enormous you feel in it if your big.dont buy if your bigger than most people or you will be laughed at....it’s just human nature they can’t help it.

Very light and shockingly sturdy!
These chairs were CLUTCH for our hiking and camping trip where we had to hike in over a mile over rough terrain. They're very light and take up no room. One thing to consider is that because of their dainty little legs they WILL sink into mud big-time. I resolved this just by putting the edge of my tarp underneath. These chairs are also surprisingly easy to put together although it can be a little tricky pulling the cover over the frame, but not too big of a deal. I was also surprised at how comfy they are. As a short person I probably prefer them to a standard chair- you almost feel like you're reclining, and they're the perfect height for petting your pup fireside. Lastly, I was extremely impressed that my 250ish lb boyfriend could fit in his chair pretty comfortably.

Worth the money and the weight
Ok. So you can spend $120 for just one name- brand chair and save a half pound...really? I sat in one of "those" chairs and it was wayyyyy smaller and flimsier!! I practically live on the A.T. section in Ga., and these are perfect for those trips when you're sitting around in camp in summer/warm weather. During cold weather trips where my pack is heavier with cold weather clothes, I usually leave the chair behind because of weight if it's a distance hike. But because of the winter sunsets, we're not outside all evening anyhow. Ask 10 different hikers about weight and you'll get 10 different answers. I personally love this chair around camp and it beats the hell outta sitting on the ground, or no back support sitting on a log after a long days hike. And it is actually pretty solid feeling. I'm 6ft, 180lbs and this chair is solid. One of my favorite pieces of gear when weight isn't a big concern.

small and lightweight..but very robust..
small, lightweight, compact , very stylish and sturdy..this replaces my big and bulky camping chair..end up ordering some more..the only downside is when putting it away it takes a little time to fold and put back in its case/bag.

Awesome Value
Really great value for 2 chairs! I love how small these chairs pack down and how light they are. They held 220lbs just fine!

Great Compact Chair
This Sportneer chair is lightweight, handy, and so ingenious. It weighs in at about two pounds (in the zippered case) and is the perfect size to bring along on your bike or backpack. The frame is segmented and held together with elastic bands, easy to expand and allow the anodized aluminum frame segments to easy come together. The chair is comfortable and easily accommodates an average sized adult. Cautions would include making sure you have the fabric portion on the frame correctly, with mesh at the top, use the chair on a flat surface. It seems that uneven terrain might cause undue stress on the frame. Two thumbs up! 👍🏼👍🏼

Size and assembly great. Comfort not so much
Was please to receive and unbox my 2pak sportneer chairs. The site of 2 small black and orange case was pleasing, especially as I bought these chairs for the compactness.Assembly was intuitive and easy and packing away likewise. So in terms of ease of use and assembly these chairs are a winner. Here comes the catch. The chairs are wide enough for most so that’s not the problem. The low backs mean getting into a comfortable seating position is near impossible. In my mind this defeats the ultimate goal of a camping chair.... getting comfy!I guess it’s too much to ask for a compact easy to assemble camping chair that is ALSO comfortable.

As described - sturdy and simple.
I have 3 other similar chairs which I paid more for than this chair. This chair is just as comfortable and sturdy.Worried about other reviews of chair collapsing on first setup as well as being hard to assemble. Practically sets itself up! I weigh in at 235lb and felt secure sitting in the chair - admittedly on an even floor - but I will only use it on a secure surface because I have no illusions

Good for what it's created for light weight & compact
Very compact & lightweight , the frame could be a bit more solid as I am only 80kg but it flexes & gives the feeling that it may break. I have only used it once or twice . It will blow away in the wind like a kite but the material etc is very heavy duty ..

Good, compact, light weight, great for the price!
At 2 for $60 you can't go wrong! Light weight, we take them everywhere on our jetski. Our 4 yr old sleeps comfortably in them. Not great in sand, need bigger feet for sand.
