I brought this when I had my last apartment. The tub was super flat so this thing works super well!However, I moved to a new place, and the drain in the new bathtub was nearly at the edge of the tub and there is some slope. So sometimes it will not catch any hair because this dude won't lay flat on the floor. (because it touches the edge and tilts up a little bit not entirely touching the ground)This thing is very heavy duty so it won't change shape based on how your bathtub floor looks like. Sometimes it would not perfectly touch the floor and leave spaces for stuff to go down your drain.Well, this is not the product's fault but rather my bathtub does not work with this dude. This is just some advice that something like this can be happening.

Functionally serves the purpose; I have a bathtub without a removable drain cover so this has enough room to go over it. Unfortunately, I feel that the slits are too narrow, yet long. It allows certain types of hair, such as straighter hair, to pass through. In addition, the upper holes seem way too small as hair tends to suffocate the lower slits pretty quick and the upper holes won't have enough drainage to let the water through efficiently.I think this is the best option in terms of going over the whole drain if it's not removable, but a little disappointing.

This product doesn't have suction power, but is heaving enough not to move out of place. Good hair catcher.

The coallapsable idea is good and the build quality is nice as well. However, I wish the holes were larger or more holes so the amount of water passing is greater than what it is. The water doesn't drain fast enough so that it starts to rise in the tub after the first several minutes of use.
