Suspenseful - Easy Read
I liked the plot and story telling. A few inadequacies noted. Fraternal twins do not have twin telepathy. That being said, I probably will read a lot more of her books -

Well written, suspenseful
I liked the writing style, very easy to fall into. The characters were well developed, and the storyline held my interest. Fast paced and had all the ingredients for a great novel. Though the plot started off strong, the twist was entirely predictable and plausable. But as the story continued it became more & more disjointed and unrealistic. The twist turned into a zig-zag and the main premise of the story didn't make any sense to me. Without giving anything away, the motives behind the actions just didn't add up.There was a lot of action, lots of suspense, it Just about every socioeconomic group was represented in the cast of characters, each playing his/her expected stereotypical role. It's an entertaining book on the surface but not much substance when you dig a little deeper.I enjoyed reading it until it reached that point when it turned into a Hollywood film, all style very little substance. So overall It held my interest and though the author is very talented, I would say this is a good book. By no means a great one. There's a difference

Unputdownable, Kimberly Belle writes with exceptional suspense to keep you guessing!!!!!!
Kimberly Belle writes great suspense, and The Marriage Lie has to be her best yet!! Grabbing my emotions immediately, this book is one that was impossible to put down, a superbly crafted suspense filled page turner with breathtaking twists. Iris is a smart school psychologist with a keen perception of her students needs and yet is in stark contrast to her knowledge of her husband Will and their marriage. Iris's denial protects her, keeps her from believing it could be anything other than perfect. When she learns Will has crashed on a plane that was not bound for the conference in Atlanta he said he was attending but instead one to Seattle her life plummets with every heartbreaking and frightening bit of information learned. Secrets are revealed that sets her on a mission to find out the truth. Her twin brother Dave helps her with leads but as the quest becomes more shocking, she is forced to take drastic measures to learn more about the lies that are just overwhelming her in her grief. The characters are richly developed, with so much to keep you guessing. The reality of different personalities was expertly portrayed, yet the last sentence will keep you in shock mode. This was a brilliant book, I loved it and I highly recommend it!!

Exciting throughout, disappointing ending
This book was fantastic until the end. I won't reveal any spoilers but I despised how it ended. The Iris at the very end was not the Iris the author began with or evolved throughout the story. I'm not sure what kind of ending would have been better but that was NOT it.

Not just one lie, many
I am late to the party on this one. I’ve seen rave reviews about this book all across social media … they aren’t kidding. What a good read! I very rarely read blurbs so I went into this book with no expectations and didn’t even know what it was about other than what the title leads one to believe.Iris and Will have been happily married for seven years. There is a plane crash. Suddenly Iris’s world has come crashing down around her and she is left to pick up the pieces. At Will’s memorial service, she meets a friend of his, Corban, whom she has never heard of. Iris also has a twin brother, Dave. He won’t let her go gallivanting across the country to find answers, not without him. Dave also doesn’t think it’s a good idea. He thinks Iris should deal with her grief as best as any widow can and start putting her life back together. Iris starts to receive mysterious messages on her phone, but who are they from? While she is in Seattle, she starts to uncover pieces of Will’s life … pieces he never shared with her. The question is why? What led him to be so secretive? This is certainly a carefully crafted tale with intertwining relationships between all of the characters in this story. I believe Ms. Belle has nailed the portrayal of Iris’s grief and disbelief at finding answers to her questions. While this book published in December 2016, I highly recommend it. It may even be one you put on your shelf to re-read at some point. It will certainly have you turning pages to find out what happens in the end. I know I stayed up past my bedtime to finish it!

Fabulous Read
I loved this book by Kimberly Belle. Well plotted, great character development and full of suspense. Where parts of the story a bit outside of 'believable.'? Yes, of course, but this is fiction and if are willing to suspend disbelief and lean into the story...then you're in for a thrilling ride. I will definitely be reading more of Mrs. Belle!

Edge of your seat page turner.
Loved this book. Many twists and turns. A bit predictable in the middle and I got annoyed with the over-use of the word generic, but it kept me hooked up to the ending. I would recommend.

A perfect read for a lazy day
Interesting read. The structure of the novel was very well, the characters were given genuine depth and motives. The main character and her brother steals the show for me. What the author managed to do with this novel was give background characters enough depth to feel like a three dimensional figure. The ending felt never rushed, although, there were fairly good twists and turns along the way. And yet, the book ended with a thought to brain for all the readers. The condition of the book was very good as well. So, can't complain.

Worth the read.
Definitely a psychological thriller and could not put it down. It will keep you guessing as to who actually knows what and not all is what it appears to be or what you thought it should be. Very good character development even with the deceased. The ending might surprise you but if you go back to review the characters it should not actually be. Well laid out story line and written. Now interested in looking at other books by Kimberly Belle.
