Loud and Effective
I was first given one of these by a friend. Like it so much that I bought one for each exterior door in my house. The alarm is LOUD. They work great at home as an addition to my alarm system and would be great for use in a hotel room.

Gets the job done..
These things are perfectly made to slide into an unsuspecting creeper’s doorway..but holy crap are they LOUD!!! Even if you turn the volume down I’m afraid the neighbors hear it. If you’re looking to give that sneaky trash panda in your life a heart attack - these will do it. I deducted a star for having to shut it off while still shaking lol They need 9V batteries too, so make sure to stock up.

VERY LOUD AND THEREFORE EFFECTIVE
I accidentally had it on and then I hit it- and it was on the lowest setting and it was still VERY loud. I am glad I purchased this item for hotel safety- its easy to use, as it is just a door stop, and it is VERY loud. I am unsure how long it keeps a battery charge, as I just got it, but it is VERY loud at even just the lowest setting- when I am traveling, I will still keep it on the highest setting as I am the heaviest sleeper but it remains very effective and I feel safer than before I had it for travel!

No instructions to set it up
Well it's loud but it came with no instructions so I ended up not using it. I was status I wouldn't have set it up right and would have pooped my pants if it had went off in the middle of the night.

Great for travel
This device works great for hotel stays. It has a loud alarm to notify you someone has opened the door. It’s small enough to pack in your luggage taking little space. Highly recommend for travel.
