These ballusters look great and easy to put together
These balusters look great and easy to put together. I looked at several other brand/options but this one seems easy enough for me to do DYI. The hardest part was to cut out my existing wooden spindles flash with the rail (top side) so that I wont have a hole sitting sitting there for the screws to cave in. I did also cut out small plugs to fill up the floor hole out of my old wooden ones.The frustrating thing in the whole process was the quality of the provided screws with these balusters. They are not durable and would frequently snap the head off from the body. Its bad because there are not really much space to play with once you have a broken screw stuck in the wood rail. Carolina Stairs should really include good strong screws or no screws at all. If you want to reduce your frustration during installation, go to a hardware store and buy some black drywall screws (1.5-2 inch). I am overall happy with the new look these balusters are showcasing.

Pricey- but so easy to install
Pricey- but so easy to install! Easily cut out the wooden balisters and installed these wrought iron within a few hours. The swivel mounting anchor is perfect for a knee wall installation or works just as well for a flat stair install.We have received so many compliments and it really makes our entry look amazing. We did an alternate basket and twist up our staircase and it looks great!I only gave it 4 stars because of the price.
