Note for New Truck Owners
These are well made and are probably easy to install in older trucks. Buyer should be aware that these racks assume that your truck bed floor is flat, not curved along the sides. I installed into 2017 Silverado. Most new truck beds have rounded floor sides which means you'll have to shim or cut blocks to give the rack foot a flat surface to sit on. You could also sink a couple of sheet metal screws or bolts thru foot and into bed floor. Not a big deal but if you're leasing your truck you may not want to drill holes in the bed. Solid product. Sure it works great in older, flat beds. Worked for me but I did have to modify footing.

If it doesn’t fit your truck out of the box, return it.
Seemed like a great fit for a 2017 F-150. However it didn’t fit in the bed and I had to have a welder work some hardware up. Once that came together it held a 24’ extension ladder just fine down the interstate and around town. Then it all came undone after a couple weeks went by when going over a rail road crossing at 35 mph. I’ll put it back together and try again.

Good quality, poor fit
Well made, but the universal fit isn't as versatile as advertised. Ford Ranger doesn't want it to work, and the sides aren't made of the best sheet metal to dial it in for a reliable fit. Other trucks may work better, but I had to get mine welded and use threaded steel rods for it to fit properly.*** Before you buy, look at your truck bed. If it slopes toward the sides of the bed, this probably won't work with the hardware provided ***

2019 Silverado 2500 HD 6.5' Box - Simply doesn't work with it well
You might as well get a normal ladder rack and drill holes, by the time you clamp this thing to your bed tight enough to make it somewhat sturdy, it damages the rails and plastic anyway. Also, if the side of your bed and the bottom of your bed is curved at all, the base stand is basically useless. When you tighten the allen bolts down the system slides underneath itself. Each rack is heavy, cumbersome & awkward so if you're by yourself have fun putting it on securely. On my 6.5' box, closest to the cab, theres about 2 feet where clamping isn't an option, so I can't take advantage of a full bed length for a 32' ladder with these racks. The steel itself and system design is sturdy, I do like the racks, but for it being designed to be "easy off, easy on, no drill solution", it does that job as good as a blind woman directing traffic in New York City...I got a Dee Zee headache rack / rear rack and drilled 4 tiny holes, that system is hands down better for lumber / ladder carry.

Have bought several types of ladder racks that need to be reattached after a year of being on the road. This one did not need to be drilled into bed of truck and so far they are great. Had to modify one foot at front of truck due to it being a short bed and gas filler neck makes bed protrude out. Little grinding and it works on our 2017 F150. Now we wait and see. Still 5 star for ease of install and quality.

Newer vehicles beware bottom bed not flat.
Yep same thing doesn't fit newer vehicles with sloped end beds will need to get a shim and or a 3 inch block of wood for pedals to sit flat and adjust on my 2016 Sierra 2500.

They didn't fit my truck when it was specified that they would. Had to return. Couldn't use the same box as it was very well secured and had to be ripped open. Seems like they would be good for someone to carry small things, not for a contractor.

This works good, but it doesn't fit properly in a F150 short bed. I had to install it at an angle. So, I ended up having to drill the foot of the rack into the bottom of the bed. Which I can live with, I just didn't want to drill into the side.
