A hugely interesting book, with enough Science for credibility but not too much for the non-specialist, or retired science type, to be overwhelmed. Plenty of very helpful graphs and diagrams, as well as compelling illustrations. Next tantalising stop would be the Museum of Natural History in London, UK !

Excellent book and arrived well before time

The "Complete", might have been a warning as it's not and perhaps could never have been. It tells the early history of homo species, and is interesting, like a junior level text book. But does not deal with examples of the evolution of the human body, if the process is relatively complete, nor populations such as sizes of early hunter-gatherer communities.
