Q: I bought two of these because we need to use 20 minutes on and forty minutes off, and I am wondering how long it takes for the ice pack to get cold?

I've never timed it. But it's pretty quick. I had to switch off too, 20 on, 20 off for toe surgery. They stay cold for a while. Keep a bucket of ice and cold water near you to keep one colder! Good luck

Q: Will this fit someone with big legs

I think so. My boyfriend is not a small guy and it fit him well, Very adjustable

Q: Does this wrap around enough to cover back of knee? If not, does velcro scratch back of knee

The Velcro straps are long, soft, And comfortable, appropriately 29 inch’s long and stretch another 5 inches when wrapping them around the knee, I am a big man, my calf’s are 19 inches around, the straps are long enough to wrap all the way around the knee and attach back to it self, Also stay’s in place when I am walking around , there is 2 straps to keep them in place, today I am recovering from Total Knee Replacement, this is a great product, and they refreeze quickly, I have 2 of them just because I wanted to make sure I always had a frozen one On hand right after surgery.

Q: How long does the ice pack stays sufficiently cold to provide therapeutic relief?

I stick to about 20 min. -30min.. The side against your skin has a velvet feel so it never feels too cold. After 20-30min. My knee is still cold to the touch. It wraps around the knee and just gives so much relief.
