Nice picks. small and stiff
I have a tool that allows me to make my own picks. I do not use it very much unless a friend wants a hand full of small picks, at no cost. These picks have the same issue. They are very small, a little slippery and in between a standard medium and a stiff. I ordered a pick holder from Amazon, so I think these will come in handy when I need a pick a tad bit stiffer then a standard medium.

Try these if you like Dunlop Jazz iii's or Jazz picks in general.
Slightly larger than a Dunlop Jazz iii but smaller than a Dunlop Jazz iii XL. Brighter than both a nylon Dunlop Jazz iii and a tortex Jazz iii. I would also say that the Black Ice pick 1.10mm feels stiffer than the Dunlop Jazz iii 1.14mm tortex. It's like getting the stiffness and resistance of a larger pick in a slimmer form. The tip is as good as the other brands allowing for excellent precision. [Duralin (also known as Acetyl or Delrin) is a unique material with an extraordinary combination of strength, stiffness, dimensional stability, fatigue resistance, and low friction.] - D'Addario.

My favorite picks.
If you like a lot of control with you playing, these are great. Work perfect with my 7 string even with heavier gauge strings. Have been using only these picks since 2013.

Better Than the Jazz III
I used Jazz III picks for years. I got one of these picks in a Dunlop variety pack and loved it. I am still using this bag of picks today. They are very durable. The grip is really good as well. The heat from your hand makes them stick in place, even with sweaty hands under the stage lights. They have an almost satin feel to them that I really like as well.

One of the best small pointy picks at a not-outrageous price.
Good quality material with consistent points and finish. Solid grip. Easy to hold onto and control. Two personal things make me deduct only one star.1- I prefer a larger pick. Small pointy picks bug me.2- I prefer a lighter color since black picks have a tendency to disappear on dark stages on top of black amplifier heads. If you're young with perfect eyesight or only play in a well lit bedroom, that won't be a problem. If you like small pointy picks and don't mind the color, then these are quality picks at a reasonable price.

Most of all - I love the tone
I'm really happy with the Black Ice Heavy picks (1.10 mm), which I bought after being badly disappointed with my last order of Dunlop Jazz IIIs.I would call the Black Ice picks medium sized. They are roughly the same size and shape as Fender 551 picks, but a little bigger than the Jazz IIIs. They are stiffer than the 551s and perhaps a touch less stiff than the IIIs (and thinner than the IIIs too). One thing that may account for the nice way the Black Ice perform is that the edges are beveled and smoothly finished in a way which differs from the 551s (which I still like) and from the Jazz IIIs.In terms of playability, they are about the same to me as any other pick of this shape and stiffness. But the most important thing to me is the hardest thing to communicate to you: The tone. I love the tone I get with these picks, and the best I can do for you is to say that I was looking for a pick that would generate a solid, mellow jazz tone with an archtop - a tone that reminds me of say, Barney Kessel (but without Barney's chops of coursse). This is what the Black Ice delivers.

My new favorite pick!
I've used Tortex .73 for the last 10 years. Out of boredom I started experimenting with thicknesses and sizes of the large collection of picks I found at gigs or came in cases of used guitars I've bought. I landed on the T3 .88. It took some adjustment to the pointy tip but once I did it made a very noticeable difference in my speed and precision. I still couldn't mesh with the .88. Well one of these Black Ice was in the pile and it had a .80 printed on it. I'm sold. This is the one. I've been using it for a few weeks and it has the right attack and bite without being flimsy. I just wish they would make one in the shape of a little tree so I could hang it from my car mirror.

EXCEPTIONAL
My new favorite pick. It's a great size - slightly bigger than a typical jazz pick. My only gripe is that the grip with these picks - though consistant with most picks on the market - is not as good as with the D'addario TUSQ picks I'd been using. But the TUSQ picks wear MUCH more quickly than these Black Ice picks - like as much wear in an hour with the TUSQ pick as in maybe a month with the Black Ice pick! But, to remedy the grip situation, I've taken to using SortKwik, and now the grip with the Black Ice picks is TRULY EXTRAORDINARY! A real game changer . . .
