ORORO Men's Heated Down Vest with Battery, Lightweight Heating Vest with 800 Fill Power Down

I got this for my husband for Christmas and I wasn’t sure he would use it. He put it on and wore it every day for all of the holiday break!He wears oh almost daily. It is his go-to now instead of a jacket or sweatshirt. He loves that the hood is removable too but gf dctyalkh lijes and uses it on a windy day when taking the dogs out. This holds a charge for days too!Best purchase ever. Soft, comfy, warm, fits and looks great. Highly recommend!

My husband loves this vest. Stays charged, warm in the winter without the bulkiness of a heavy coat (he is outside and inside a lot as a car salesman). Very soft and professional looking. As expected

I wasn’t too sure about buying this as I always felt like I didn’t want more batteries in my life. However, I absolutely love this vest. I’m often outside in the cold and this makes me so comfortable. I love the neck heater. I did buy two batteries for it so it would last an entire work shift.

I'm a firm believer that cold weather gear is an investment, hence quality matters. Overall, the Ororo vest is well made product. I'm 5'9" 190 pounds athletic/average build, I purchased an XL and the fit is very close to true to size. Good YKK zippers, warms up quickly, lightweight and comfortable. The packaging for the vest is very good, as it came in a nice zippered package. Simple user/care instructions. It also fits fairly snuggly under my North Face ThermoBall Eco 2.0 jacket (rebranded now as ThermoBall Super Jacket - if the jacket was quarter size bigger the fit would be perfect). The heating coil in the collar, is nice.Areas that could use improving:The battery design is a little chunky - reminds of the old SkyTell pagers of the 90s. It would be great if the batter was bit slimmer. Also where the battery fits in the jacket is a little strange as is the pocket the battery goes into. The pocket could be a slightly tighter fit to help keep things in place. Lastly, not sure why the vest doesn't have heating coils in the chest area. Aside from these areas that could be improved, the jacket overall, is very nice and worth the investment.

I have the older version and got the updated battery version for my husband and man it’s amazing!The heat is great. I’ve even had to turn it off at times because I’m too warm. The updated battery pack is amazing. That was my only complaint about the older version

Im happy with the vest as to comfort and warmth, however the zipper sucks. It constantly gets stuck when unzipping the vest. You have to zip and unzip 10 or so times to get the zipper all the way down.

I compared this to the Venustas vest my wife has. This is better for a few reasons:* The down interior is nicer than the Venustas, which has a synthetic foil-like internal fabric.* The battery pack is out of the way, being found below my left arm, slightly behind my side.* The bag it comes in is surprisingly nice
