Q: Hi, did this smell linger on are did the smell evaporate after a week or so?

It was super strong for the first week... a little too much I had to put it in the boot ! A few weeks on it now smells lovely and the whole car smells of cherry. I have read a trick to use when it fades is to add some water to the bricks so can see this lasting quite a while !

Q: What is the best way for smell performance e.g. do I leave the lid open or closed? Also is anyone's scent brown on the inside?

best performance I find in my car is for *metal seal off, then leave inner slide cover closed for couple weeks, then open slightly. Have had good results with *lid closed* upto 5-6 weeks. All *scents* inside are brown blocks.

Q: Do they come with gel inside or is it the fragranced pads?

These have the fragrance pads inside. There are 3 inside this size.

Q: Are these the gel ones???

After opening the can there is a block of hard felt-like material which is soaked in the freshener. They last a good few months before having to replace. I just replaced my first one after 6 months+
