High Quality Oolong Tea!
I decided to try this high mountain Oolong and I'm glad I did. When I ordered it, I also ordered another Oolong from another tea merchant. This morning I did a "tea tasting" to compare the two high mountain Oolong teas. The other tea I purchased, which was over twice as expensive, had very little flavor... the leaves were lovely and long, and it was presented in a beautiful tin, but the tea was, sadly, unimpressive. BUT, the Wuyi Da Hong Pao High Mountain tea had great flavor and beautiful color at half the cost. I will definitely buy this tea again. If you try it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

It arrived timely and with the correct variety
I am not a tea aficionado. I am having a book club to review All The Tea in China, the story of how Robert Fortune descended from English farm folk became the person who stole the Chinese tea technology and exported it to the English tea plantations in India. I bought this tea as one of many to serve to the book club ladies so they could try different teas. I haven't tried it yet, but I don't know that my evaluation would be of much value.

Delicious! My new go-to Oolong
Tried this originally based upon the other reviews and enjoying some as I write this. This medium roast tea produces a lovely coppery-gold brew with complex flavors of umami and sweet. Smooth pungency and long-lasting mouth feel with silky tannins. Notes of floral, honey, dried longan, smoke and corn. Liked it so much I purchased more right away. Planning also to give some as part of a gongfu tea service gift.

I'll definitely buy it again!
I'm not an expert on tea, however, somehow I learned that this one is a very good choice. In other words, I had very high expectations about it. After sampling a couple of cups, I should say that it's fabulous. The tea has a great aroma and it really met my expectations. I'm definitely gonna buy it again, but I'll probably pick the 3oz size. The tea is simply very good in my opinion. It might be needless to say, but the delivery, the packaging, and everything else around it was very good. I'm glad I didn't have to wait long to get it.

Slightly musty taste
After watching the very interesting history of tea in "Victoria Wood's A Nice Cup of Tea" I decided to try this highly praised tea. I gave it the benefit of the doubt but would still prefer a nice cup of Earl Grey.

A grade above tea sold in a can
This tea comes in a red resealable packet and has a strong fruity aroma and yields amber-colored tea that tastes smoother than tea sold in a can for the first two steepings.

I prepared a cup straight away and the aroma and flavor is terrific, just as expected
I was a little hesitant to purchase since the tea that I have consumed, I brought back from China myself, but received this order in a padded envelope with no damage. I opened up the sealed package to smell the tea and it is exactly as I remember from my visit to China last June. Furthermore, I prepared a cup straight away and the aroma and flavor is terrific, just as expected!
