Does what it's supposed to do
I needed a replacement windshield bracket for my radar detector. This one is actually better and more sturdy then my original. I think it's because it has 3 suction cups in a triangular formation which keeps the device from bouncing or shaking. It's very sturdy and the suction cups stick very well to the windshield. Just make sure that you're getting the right one for your radar detector. This one works perfectly with mine.

The item does not fit Beltronics RX65 Professional Series Radar Detector as described.
The metal bracket that slides into the radar is about 3 mm narrower and 1-2 mm longer. I tried to modify it, but it still does not fit well to ensure that the unit sits stably and does not shake and rattle while the vehicle moves. Unfortunately, now I am not able to return the unit and should not be getting back the £22 I spent on it. Unlucky!

Did not fit the radar very well.
It didn’t lock into the radar very well. Really had to fumble around with it.

Great Product
I like this in particular because it uses three suction cups. I’ve used a radar detector for a few decades. I typically leave the mount on the windshield year round. The use of the extra suction cup makes this mount much more stable than those with just two. I’ve had problems with those over the years, either by moving around or even failing to support the weight. I’ve never had a problem with this type.Be advised that I replace these every year. I have lived in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Georgia, and Michigan over the years. The hot summer sun ultimately degrades the suction cups to where they are yellow and stiff. At that point, they will no longer work reliably.
