The perfect midrange headphones
The Kraken V3 continues the trend of the previous generations but really nails it this time. The sound is beautiful, very impressive responsiveness across the range, whether its hearing every instrument of a song balanced amazingly or every detail of whats going on in a game, it effortlessly lets you experience it all. So haptics on headphones may seem potentially unnecessary, however, it's honestly a great experience. I can understand that to some people it might be a bit much if you are hyper sensitive to vibrations but even then the lowest setting might work for you, but for me it set to medium is the sweetspot. Feeling the bass in songs and the beat of drums makes it feel much more real, like you're actually there with all the noise pulsing through your body, and feeling the shockwave of explosions or the rumble of a car engine is definitely something to experience. I've briefly had to go back to another pair of headphones (simply to play games on another device and i didnt feel like setting up the kraken on it, even tho its basically instant if you already have razer synapse installed) and i found myself really missing the haptics even more so than the THX spacial audio which made my other headphones sound dull. To sum up about the haptics, they add an extra edge of immersion into whatever content you are experiencing and it's so satisfying but you'll miss it if you have to go without it for even a minute. Now the last of what i consider to be the three most important factors of a headset, comfort. Now, I'm not the biggest fan of round headphone cups, but honestly these are the most comfortable ones I've tried, it still feels strange to me (as I have mainly used rectangular for many years) but it's definitely comfortable the many hours I've had the kraken on. It doesnt make your ears overheat and the cups are soft yet supportive. Only issue I have is there's less clamping pressure than I'm used to and due to the circular shape, if i tilt my head completely down, the headphones slip and rest on the back of my ears, feeling as if they'll fall of with some average energy head shaking, but I may just be spoiled with my previous rectangular headphones which feel sturdy no matter what which made them feel more comfortable just because I could do anything and not worry about them falling off. I have the same issue with all round headphones I've tried, so if you don't have an issue with others, you wont with this because this is noticeably better than others to me. Overall, the Kraken V3 with hypersense is an absolutely amazing set of headphones, amazing quality, innovation in the amazingly tuned haptics, and decent price below what I'd consider matching level headphones from competitors. Of course they're not the best headphones in existence, as if you spend a couple to many times the price you're likely to get better clarity and surround sound from headphones with five or so speakers per ear, but you cant get much better in the same price range, if you can find anything better anyway. And to actually finish, in a place most people skip to read, best headphones for price, will probably last forever like my older Razer Electra V2. Only issue is its microphone is great for picking up voice no matter the surroundings, but it still sounds like "a high quality game chat", and is a bit worse than my electra, so perfect for game chat, mediocre for talking to friends or in meetings, and definitely wouldn't use for streaming or making content of any sort.

A great headset that is also built with quality.
After using the razer kraken v3 pro headset i notice a difference with the razer kraken v4 pro, the volume is lower on the v4 pro compared to the v3 pro, a example is with the v3 pro i only went to volume 10 when using them, with the v4 pro for roughly the same sound volume i have to crank it up to around 38 volume. The oled controller works wonders has i also use it when watching 4k movies via my 4k roku stick that is connected to my monitor, con is that the oled controller has to be connected to the pc to work, has the razer kraken v4 pro doesn`t have a 3.5mm jack to connect it directly to the monitor jack. One other difference i have found between the v3 pro and v4 pro is that the v4 pro when setting up sound normalization, bass boost and voice clarity, unlike the v3 pro that uses all the features at same time the v4 pro only uses one setting at a time which is a shame as i like setting them up to get the best sound possible, but still sounds great. I like the haptic feedback has it works better than the v3 pro which is much more distinctive, also connecting via bluetooth and wireless is so easy to do with a few presses, but make sure headset isn`t connected to pc via one of the cables, speaking of which, i like that you can either use the usb type c cable or the usb type a cable to charge the headset, which is great as the oled controller needs to be connected to pc via the usb type a cable to power it. The wireless mode is amazing compared to the v3 pro, a example is with the v3 pro the headset would cut out when in the kitchen, even though i was only a few feet from the dongle. With the v4 pro i can still listen to music whilst in the kitchen without any issues of sound cutting out. Overall a great headset which works really well, and the quality of the headset is amazing.

Overall good headset
Great for audio, great microphone. LED lights are very pretty and can customise them. Only 2 downsides: occasional static noises that happen very rarely and cause is unknown and because the headset is heavy, after hours of wearing it makes my ears hurt. Recommend if you don’t use a headset for a long period of time. The hypersense feature is too much for me so I prefer not to use it.

Microphone broke putting them down.
I really wanted to like this headset. I liked the vibrating headset gimmick so much that I bought another one after the previous two broke, but now I'm on the third set that has broken for me, so I don't think it is worth it. First stopped vibrating after 6 months, they were nice enough to replace it, but the 2nd one, the plastic snapped within 7 months so I just duct-taped the thing until the microphone finally broke, so I bought new ones. This set has worked better because I started using a headset stand and generally stopped putting it down on my wooden table but yesterday I had to answer the door quickly and broke the microphone again. Everything else about this headset is nice, but the build quality just isn't there. The fact that I've had two break in the same way is too much, especially since this headset is three times more expensive than one that lasted me for four years. My plan is to buy a separate microphone so I haven't totally wasted my money on them.

A safe purchase won't regret it.
I hasitated which one to order out of 15 different kinds of headphones but I couldn't be more satisfied. This is far the best headphones I have ever had. The sound quality is brilliant it's just so load I can't go above 60% but don't even have to (yet haha) the vibrating function gives such an amazing experience in all sort of video games. I definitely recommend it if you looking for a decent headphones for gaming.
