Archie Vol. 2

Really enjoyed the art style and characterization of these classic characters in a modern setting. If you got wind of these characters because of the Riverdale show, pick up this series. You so won't regret it.

Certainly wasn't like the classics. So weird when I know they are all supposed to have grown up together. Either way Mr. Lodge is insufferable in this one, Betty having and actual boyfriend. Veronica being even more spoiled. 🤔 I never know what's coming next so thats good.

I knew of Archie. I'd never read the comic book. I started because I like Mark Waid (and also because my local comic book shop told me very nice things about it). Volume 1 was a really fun read, and Vol.2 is not exception. I believe I preferred volume 1, but I'll need to re-read the whole story arc (include the upcoming volume 3) to form a definitive opinion. When it's out, I'll probably write a "real" review of volumes 1-3 in a volume 1 review.

Outstanding series. I cannot gush enough about the art and how wonderful the stories are. When I first heard they were rebooting the Archie series for a new generation, I was afraid they wouldn't respect the character. Mark Waid has done a wonderful job of staying true to the characters while bringing a fresh look that doesn't compromise the integrity of the series. Fans of the new Riverdale show on the CW will love this series and the old school fans like myself will be enthralled with it as well.

I loved Archie as a child, and the reboot doesn't disappoint. Removing a star only because Fiona Stiles wasn't involved in this volume. I liked the artwork, but nothing compares to Fiona Stiles. I'll definitely read future volumes.

I'm Glad I Got Volume 2 of this archie comic series its just simply amazing to read and admire its good artwork i almost have a complete collection of this series can't wait to get volume 4 and the jughead series next

It's Archie 🤷🏾‍♀️ A lot happens but at the same time nothing feels as if it has any real consequences.

I bought these for my high school classroom library. I am an English teacher, and many of my students watch “Riverdale,” so this was a hit!
