The machine was hard to maneuver and it did not even turn on for us, so we returned the product. I would not recommend.

Lasted a year...
I have a house full of hardwood floors, with a bit of tile. I've researched and read reviews on steam mops until my eyes glazed over and I gave up. I came across the Electrolux JetMaxx but it had no reviews. Every other steam mop had an almost equal number of lovers/haters. I knew what I wanted. Long cord, hold enough water to do some decent cleaning, multiple steam holes, various levels of steam. Although the JetMaxx had no reviews yet, I felt comfortable ordering from Amazon (BuyHappier.com)because of their excellent return policy. Also, buyhappier.com extends the 2 yr manufacturer warranty to 3 years free! Ok, so it arrived, manufacturer box packed inside bigger box with packaging, good job! Very easy to snap together and seems sturdy. Holds 24 oz of water, I used distilled because I don't want to mess with mineral deposits that kill it! Make sure reservoir lid is on tight, and DON'T overfill. It leaked at first till I really read the directions well. Plugged it in, and it very quickly (a minute?) heated up and was ready to use. It has 3 settings, first is for hardwood, 2nd for laminate/vinyl, 3rd for tiles. I started on 1, but it had been a while since I mopped and floors were a mess. I used level 2 instead. It made plenty of steam at this level without soaking the floors. On the dirtiest places, I had to go slow and repeat over the area quite a bit, it did finally get those bad messes up (small drip messes, dog paw prints...). It's not like using a wet mop with chemicals and scrubbing. You need to go slow and take your time. I was VERY impressed with how clean the floor was, and it dried very quickly, completely dry in about 5 minutes, and we keep our house cold! Now that the floors are clean, I imagine I will be able to use level 1 with more success. After my 18X15 bedroom floor, very little water had been used, lots left to do more floors! Keep in mind that you first need to vacuum the floors before steam moping.Pros... 6 steam holes across length of steam head. generous water tank 30 ft cord, one of the longest? 3 levels of steam adjustment 2 year warranty (3 from buyhappy.com) seems very sturdy, not a lightweight, has some heft to it, but didn't have to struggle to use. slim steam head went under furniture edges with ease. Lays close to floor for cleaning under beds.Cons... the "cord holder" on the back of unit doesn't really hold all the cord, and the clips seem like they could snap, we shall see. Not a huge con for me. The cleaning cloth was still wet the next morning after sink cleaning it, but hey, that means it's thick!I'm not going to put the cloths in the dryer, don't want to chance them shrinking, as they are the exact size for the steam head. I don't want the plastic head contacting my wood floors if they did shrink. This is one of the more costly steam mops, but I believe you get what you pay for. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase. I will update in the future if I feel like I need to downgrade from 5 stars. I took a chance buying without ANY reviews for this, but I did feel like at least I wasn't going to be disuaded by negative reviews from people who didn't do their research, or abused their own products. This is a steam mop, they need to be pushed slow, and really dirty spots or stains are going to take some patience. You are using WATER and no chemicals, so give the steam some time to do it's job!Edit 1/24/2016 This died about a year ago, just stopped sending water through the steamer, and it was not plugged up. I think the little pump sending unit quit. It still got hot, and probably would have burned up if I hadn't noticed and unplugged it. I took it apart hoping to find a plug or loose wire, nope. Worked great for about a year, but not worth what it cost if it fails that easily.

handle broke
My handle broke the very first day. The handle breaks where it connects to the main body. A really poor design, and poor material. The mop still works, must be really careful for it not to come apart. I like the design of the mop, it works very well otherwise, produces plenty of steam on all settings.

It's The BEST!!!
I have had other steamers but this by far is the best! My condo has white title floors and the JetMaxx has remove dirt that has been there for years that the others never removed. It seams to never run out of water because of the large water reservoir.

Buyer Beware
While I am sure that the unit I received was defective, please review ONE of my many correspondences with Electrolux (below) to decide whether this is a product/company that you are willing to trust.Dear [Electrolux Customer Service Rep]:I hope that your response below ("the unit will not be replaced") is simply a misunderstanding of facts. Let me be perfectly clear that the unit does not function in any way that would be consistent with expectations, nor the marketing, of your JetMaxx Steam product. When in its upright position with the microfiber steam pad in place per your instructions, NO steam is visible from the unit, the pad does NOT get wet, nor does the surface which is supposed to "sanitize hard floors with steam" per your product claim get hot (by any measurement). This remains true with the unit on the heavy duty setting that isn't even recommended for hardwood, and comes with the following statements in your user manual:~~~NOTE: THIS SETTING DISTRIBUTES HIGH AMOUNTS OF WATER AND MAY BE HARMFUL TO DELICATE SURFACES.The JetMaxx Steam generates a steady amount of concentrated water vapor to help the cleaning process. Certain settings, especially *** (Heavy Duty Setting), will generate large amount of water to help the cleaning process. This is normal.~~~I informed the rep that while holding the unit in the air without the microfiber steam pad in place and the unit on *** (Heavy Duty Setting), a minimal amount of steam was trickling out of only two of the six steam heads. This is a far cry from the "concentrated water vapor" that is supposed to be produced with the microfiber steam pad in place.Your return policy states "We allow you 45 days to return a product that you are not satisfied with, whether it is defective or not." Please immediately process a return authorization number for this order. [...]

d.o.a. horrible leaking
I recieved this as a gift and the product never worked right out of the box. The water tank it came with leaked almost as fast as i was filling it. making it impossible to even get the tank into the mop without making a huge mess since the tank wasnt not especially easy to install. It seemed like it may have been missing a rubber gasket. Once i had the tank installed with more than the min water level remaining i plugged it in. The red light lit up signaling power but it would never start heating. I left it plugged in for close to 30 min occasionally pressing the button. I called electrolux they returned my call promptly and directed me to an authorized service provider. The service provider was insisted my mop was out of warrenty and i would have to pay for any repairs ( reguardless of what electrolux told me not even 30 min prior).

Love it!
We had to cover our tile floors with vinyl in our entire house. I didn't want to clean the floors with a mop. I read reviews of the steam mops and decided to get one. I absolutely love it! It gets the floors clean with no detergent! The cord is super long so I don't have to keep moving the plug in to reach the bedrooms. The steamer comes with two pads so you always have a clean one. My house is about 1500 sq. ft. and I only use half of the water in the resevoir.
