Absolutely awesome well done and a brilliant story great characters and awesome story lines good love scenes and a brilliant author

Normally I love this author's books but this one was full of errors, mixing up the names of the characters and grammar mistakes it's almost as if no one proof read it, the plot was very poor and predictable, just not one of the best books, a little disappointing and I skipped a few pages here and there just to get to the end.

So many players-so much going on and so much action you can't absorb it all. Sophia and Leo are both dominant characters- and although they fight it you can see that they're meant to be. Outside forces conspire against them - and innocent lives are lost in the battle to find the truth and some kind of truce. I couldn't put this book down til I'd finished-- yet another book for my keep list ...... Brilliant !!!!

Just when you thought you had the plot in your head something happens and off you go again. Put in the mix a terrific love story and wallah fireworks.

I really enjoyed this book, i loved the characters Sophia and Leo were a perfect match. Totally from the same backgrounds and live very similar life's. Sofia and Leo have so much in common and the chemistry between them was there from the get go. Great book thou a few writing mistakes but u know what is meant instead, needed another read through but otherwise great mafia read. They assassinated Leo’s father, and Leo, the leader of the Black Delphi assassins, took out Sophias father himself.When Sophia’s untouchable and untrustworthy second in command, Retsos, arranges a meeting between the two of them, proposing an arranged marriage to broker a truce and strengthen their alliance, under the guise of it being Sophia’s suggestion, it’s clear to Leo that she’s not interested. So why write him the letter in the first place? The hate between the two of them is palpable but there’s an instant attraction that neither expected, can deny, or understand. How can you possibly be that attracted to someone you abhor?Leo instinctively knows that something isn’t right, so that same night he kidnaps Sophia from where they are staying. He’s determined to get to the bottom of both the confusion and attraction, Sophia is as determined to fight him all the way. The way that Leo can control her body and make him crave him, means that the two of them eventually begin to talk.This is a well written, dark and smouldering story that keeps you turning the pages. Even thou she didn't do the kills and Father forced her to make the choice for each boy...no spoilersQueen Sopia & King Leo love story is like a cat & mouse game. They are trying to figure each other other and we learn the true reason why Sophia sent the letter. I was surpsies what the purpose of the letter was and that the mafia underworld is complicating especially when you are protecting someone you love...no spoilersOnce again which is why I LOVE THIS SERIES, we have action, expulsions, fight scenes that just add another layer of suspense. OH the steamy dark romance that Leo & Sophia is perfect, just simple perfect. The tension between was getting higher and higher then SNAP😍🔥 roughlu 50% mark is the happy & steamy point of their love. Yes it's a slow enemies to lovers romance but it suits their story perfectly. I don't want to spoil too much but it's link with their past, family choices and the underworld...no more spoilers or hints !!I love Maeve and you need to read the previous book to understand why i love this women !! The witty banter with everyone still makes me smile soo much even with all the suspense.
