Cooking and tea time
I was new to using loose leaf tea and found the tea sized container perfect for a beginner. The large container has been perfect for aromatics we use in soups . It is nice not to have to pick out the bay leaf or thyme stems.

Works well
Right now we’re using these for herbal iced teas. These teas tend to have a lot of very small pieces so the fine mesh prevents a lot of junk from being in the tea. They work well for this purpose. In the fall we intend to use them for the spices in hot apple cider and also for the spices in soups. The larger size is an asset. So far the lids screw on and off easily. We’re using 2 of these.

Big batch, no problem.
Is it tea time? I brew a gallon of tea at a time, I use two of these with room to spare. I put the equivalency of 8 teabags in each. Works well!

Homemade tea makers approved!
My boyfriend and I love homemade sweet tea and a former client of mine sells loose leaf teas in a wild variety of flavors. We make our tea by the gallons and needed something to steep the teas with. We love this. The size is amazing and we can do 2 flavors at once.

Why isn't the top gapped like the sides?
The holes on top are gapped bigger than the side holes letting tea leaves out. It's biggest enough for gallon size but if you're using very fine, leaves will leak out the top. Decent quality.

Great product
Love this product. Came with two. I use one for my baths. I add oats, chamomile, and lavender. I use the other for soups I add the herb bouquet in this large tea infuser for easier removal.

Finally! Large fine mesh tea strainer with screw on lid!
Great tea strainer! Very fine mesh keeps floaties out of the tea. Screw on lid that stays on no matter what. Strong construction, seems like it will last a long time. I've been looking for a larger size for a long time with the fine mesh. Can brew larger pots of tea and doesn't bunch up the tea leaves so you get stronger tea without more tea leaves. One quirk that does not affect anything important, it flips over sometimes in the coffee pot. Not sure why it does that . . . .
