CidavaOE Integrated CD Player via USB Radio Connection for Vehicle - (See Vehicle Fit Chart Image)

I have a 2020 Honda pilot and this worked wonderfully in it. It took a few minutes for me to figure out the screen in my car but honestly all you do is plug it in and let it set up to file manager and it plays. At first I thought it was skipping when I went over bumps, but it was the cd. After that, I went over some pretty big potholes and it never missed a beat so I realized it was a CD that was skipping not the player. Sound quality is great as it’s thru car speakers. Worth the money to be able to play my cds again!

Good looking unit, sounded great, did skip periodically. 14 months after purchasing it quit. Plug it in and light comes on and immediately goes off. Would expect something that cost 150. Dollars to last longer.

My new 2021 Lincoln Corsair did not come equipped with a CD player, so I wanted a simple way to add something to play all my CDs that we enjoy. Saw this, watched video and decided to give it a try.. Very simple to install and works great. Was very happy we decided to get it. Would recommend.

If you are looking at this because you want a CD to play seamlessly between songs that run together then you don't want this. This is simply a CD device that converts the tracks to MP3 and plays them through your system. It works flawlessly for just MP3 conversion but does not play your disc like a classic CD.setup was easy and the unit is great quality.

Got the product quickly. It’s a quality product. Unfortunately my car doesn’t seem to recognize it. It works fine on computer so obviously a car issue. Contacted Cidava via email. Literally within minutes had responses, help with troubleshooting. Once we decided it was the car, they offered full refund and ran it through Amazon. This ENTIRE process was completed in about 45 minutes. If you’re in the market it’s absolutely worth getting this player. It’s a no risk proposition.

This car CD player stopped working right, altogether, after only 7 months. First, the player began to skip songs on the CD's. Some songs just would not play. Later on, the CD player would not maintain a connection to the car computer, and would not work.The car computer does function, with another CD player.

New cars don’t have CD players in them, or aux ports, but they do have USB ports. Don’t purchase any portable CD player that claims it hooks up to your cars Bluetooth, because they don’t. I tried one. I then took a chance on this CD player with USB cord. Plugged it into my 2022 BMW and it recognized it and played immediately. Songs showed up as a list which you can scroll to, although your screen may configure it differently. Bottom line, plug it in, insert CD and bingo, it’s like 1999 all over again!

Nice looking, all black, simple one button, and very easy to hook up and install. I had just bought three brand new vehicles this year, C8 corvette, Nissan Titian and Nissan Z. This CD player worked perfect in each one, and sounded great. I notice no skipping except when I first started it with the first CD I installed, I ejected the CD, reinstalled the disc and it worked perfect. I drove for hours and swapped it into all vehicles with no trouble at all. Then I got some 2 sided tape and mounted it on the center console right on top of the rear opening for small storage. I was so excited that I went in the house and ordered a second one. The next day it was a hot day, bright sun and in the very high 90’s. I got into the Nissan Z and started it up,,, the first thing I noticed was the radio could not find the CD player. I left the CD player inside the car overnight and it was working when I shut the car off. Then I looked at the CD player and the car apparently got hotter than the CD player could handle. Look at the pictures,, the top right of the CD player warped up and bent the top of the CD player, this made it impossible for the CD to spin. So I looked at the instructions and it says it can be mounted inside the car but makes no mention of the CD player will get ruined in a hot car. I had planned to remove the player each time I got out of the car or truck to avoid thieves, but I just didn’t think about the heat,,, and again after hearing the sound in the new Z, it’s something everyone should hear and that’s what made me buy a second on on Amazon. So I will only be without music for one day. This time, no double sided tape except for a wide rubber tape that will absorb road shock and prevent it from slipping around. The cost is cheap enough that it’s not worth trying to return this several hour old broken CD player,,, I’m just excited that I can now plug in one wire, and listen to my CD collection,,, and the automatic menu that pops up on screen is nice to change tracks and fast forward into a song.So everyone thinking about buying a CD player,,, this one is good looking, plays awesome, very simply to hook up and as long as you remove it after each drive, it will last and be worth every penny, but if.you let the CD player inside of the car that can get smoking hot,,, you need a new player,,, and for anyone thinking, you should have known better than leaving it in a hot car,,, I had the windows tinted with the best UV tint there is,,, it cuts all UV heat coming through the window by 99%,,,, it’s shocking when you put your arm next to the tint and you’ll feel no sun infrared heat. So I believed what the tint salesman told me that this tint prevents a car from getting too hot inside
