I'm sure I could have fit in the XS, but got I got the S and very happy with the fit. If you are going for a pattern with the black background I highly recommend going up a size as the black will look more gray at the bust, if stretched too thin. All in all a very nice summer dress. I did need to hem the dress up about 4 inches in order to wear with flat sandals.
