Walking Gingerdead, Ninjabread, and Samurai Santa Christmas Cookie Mix Kits with Cookie Cutters (3 pack)

These kits make some nice gingerbread cookies with interesting shapes. A few tips on usage.1) Roll dough out thin, thick cookies are too soft2) Twist the frosting bag several times at the top. If you dont frosting comes out of both ends3) Make a practice line or two on any malformed cookies you make. Getting the lines drawn properly is not as easy as one would think.If you are not artist nor able to draw a straight line I would avoid these cookies. What makes them look like nija's, etc. is the icing decorations that give depth to the shape.The cookies do taste good.

I cannot stress enough that the actual cookie mix in these kits is *the pits*. It's awful. Following the directions to the letter will produce unusable dough.You are better off finding the cookie cutters separately, and finding a sugar cookie recipe, as well as a gingerbread recipe online.I will never be purchasing these again, and I do not recommend these at all.

The cookies/icing, ehhh. But the cookie cutters are priceless. I wish there were more santas.

The kiddos thought these were really cool. We had fun making them and the instructions were easy. Not spectacular flavor-wise, but these are more about FUN.

We are unable to return, even though we got 2 of the same and didn't get the Walking Gingerdead listed in the product description. Be wary, not all deals are deals.
