Bought it for surge brake rebuild
I saw this was a fit for my boat trailer surge brake master cylinder. The company that built them are no longer in business and mine was welded to the tongue. This kit and a boot fixed it! I had to replace the wheel cylinders because they had not worked for so long , but I expected it, so I’m happy I didn’t have to drop 200-300 dollars on a new unit

This item is described as a direct rebuild kit for a 1953. However this is a 1" bore and Chevy's came with a 7/8" bore. So this item does NOT fit

Repaired an Atwood 85736
The media could not be loaded. I used this kit to rebuild an Atwood 85736 master cylinder for my Enclosed trailers surge breaks actuator. It worked perfectly. Atwood has gone out of business and you cannot find replacement parts. So if this didn't work the next stop was to physically cut off my hitch/surge break actuator and bolt or weld on another brand.
