Hello, Vital Earth does not use any chemicals or acids to extract their Fulvic like many other fulvic "acids" on the market. Additionally, this product has an alkaline pH, it is not acidic. For these reasons they do not refer to their minerals as "acids" although many other manufacturers still use that term. If you call the Vital Earth Minerals directly they are very helpful and can answer any additional questions.
