If you mean the insole, then yes, it is removable.

Q: Run small a whole size big?? For sure don’t want to order too big, I need them asap and don’t want to deal with returns and waiting again

I wear size 9 and they fit, even with my orthotic insoles. I bought my pair in May and wear them 3 or 4 times a week. I'm disappointed with how the fabric in the toe section has worn. There are deep crease cuts on each side. I won't be buying these again.

Q: Would these be good vacation shoes to do a lot of walking in a city?

I would say, “definitely”. I have 3 pair of Tretorn Rawlins2 shoes, and my feet have never hurt or ached in these. They are great shoes.
