Nice placemats. Price seems a little steep.

Expensive but worth the price
These are very expensive, but if it's in your budget they are worth the expense. They look exactly like they do in the pictures. Not sure what the "bread basket" is for. It doesn't look like it would work very well as a bread basket. But that's not what I bought them for.

Almost 5 years later and look great
They've been very easy to maintain and still look good after almost 5 years.

I liked them, but i ordered 2 sets, and they were completely different shades of brown.

Faux Leather???
We thought we wanted real leather but then realized how it would pick up stains and oils. These placemats are scrubbable and easily cleaned. Yet, they do look like leather. They look great in our kitchen. We have not ever washed in a washing machine but simply scrub or wipe down after meals. Durable and good looking.

Well made and look great
No issues, matched my needs to a tee. The bread basket works well as a valet for your desk as well.

Find the mats very difficult to clean.
