Tacstar side saddle for mossberg
This is my 14th Tacstar side saddle I have bought for my Mossberg shotguns and still have them all and they have all functioned flawlessly weather it be the 2 3/4 shells or the mini shells they stay in the saddle without any worry, during hunts, or drills and training. I absolutely recommend this side saddle over any other brands side saddle

Was easy to install holds shells secure and easy to insert or remove shells.

Shotgun Saddle
It does what it’s supposed to. Using cards is a better way of doing the same thing, if you plan to shoot a lot. This is fine for a home defense setup, as you’re not going to be looking to blast a shotgun in your home more than ten times.

Perfect fitment on Mossberg 500. Included extras.
Perfect fit on my Mossberg 500. It came with a practice "snap cap" which is super cool! Also came with all the hardware needed to mount it. Highly recommend for the price! I will for sure be buying another one for my 870 Wingmaster. Also, other Reviews show the shell holders. Being rubber. This one is hard plastic with rubber inserts and have great shell retention.

Missing installation hardware
This is not a review on how great the product is but that the package was missing the hardware to install the side saddle. Had to return and another one is on its way.

Easy to install
Super easy to install requires only a punch and all other tools are included. I like how the rounds are held securely in the side saddle and don’t move around. I have tried other similar devices by other companies but TacStar has never failed me. For the price it’s well worth it. Other brands you end up just paying more for a name on the side of a package.

Good product but not as advertised
I ordered this for my maverick 88. The description states " Durable, flexible synthetic rubber shell carrier ensures secure shell retention." That is a lie. The one I received did not have the flexible rubber shell carrier but a hard plastic one. I'll keep this one as it does the job, but I mainly ordered it because it did advertise a flexible rubber shell carrier. It really annoys me when sellers falsely advertise what they are selling. I gave it a three for the false advertising. Other than that it appears to be a good product.
