Nice looking switch, very easy wiring, works as it should!
Super easy wiring, just connect the Line and Load. I don't have a ground wire so I did not connect it, but the switch works fine. I like the LED display as it is counting down. It works just as described and looks great. One thing to keep in mind with Lutron switches and similar switches is that they are bulky (both wide and deep), so making room in the switch box can sometimes be the toughest part of the installation. For my installation, the conduit entered the switch box from the side and extended into the box far enough that it interfered with the switch. I could not push the switch all the way in since the back of the switch was contacting the conduit and I still needed to push it back about another 2 mm to get it installed. At that point I was stuck, but I decided to do something that would definitely void any warranty (NOT recommending this to others!) -- I took my Dremel tool and started removing the excess plastic on the back side of the switch where it was contacting the conduit. The plastic was thick, so I was able to remove quite a bit without busting through. It was enough to get it fully seated in the switch box, so all was well after that.

An elegant solution for a timer switch...
I bought this to control a single bathroom fan in an ensuite, and it works perfectly. Wiring was straightforward, as with any switch, and I DID connect the specific bare ground wire despite the original (non-timer) switch only having 2 of 3 wires connected. Not sure if the ground connection makes a difference to whether it works or not, but thought it couldn't hurt in the potentially moist environment of a bathroom installation.Operation is straightforward: tap the button to power on, and choose 'on' or your timer setting with the rocker switch. I like that the light indicating 'on' is green, while each of the timer settings are indicated with amber. A nice touch is that when the timer is counting down, the amber lights continuously cascade down slowly from the most recently passed time marker, giving you an animated display of the progress. Lutron's Maestro line continues to impress and is my first choice for switch replacements/additions around the house.

Get the eco version if you want a switch that always turns off
I bought this thing because I constantly forgot to switch off my bathroom fans. Those things are noisy and draw a lot of power. This switch is sleek and works well. I also use this switch to time my showers! I now know when my 5 minutes are up, helps me save a lot of water too!Tips:* Get the eco version if you want a switch that always turns off. This switch has an "ON" option where it will not switch off automatically. So if you accidentally double click the switch, it will go to "ON" and your fan will keep running. I wish I knew about the eco version, I would have bought that one.* This switch turns off and comes back on in a second when there is one minute left in your countdown. This freaked me out in the beginning thinking something was wrong, but later figured this was feature and not a bug.

Set it once, intuitive controls, easy to install, saves money in the long run
I have put these timers in all bathrooms in the house. They are easy to wire-no need to determine the line and load wires, no neutral wire hookup. Adjusting the timer is intuitive, no need for an instruction manual. Once you determine the time you want, you only have to push the button on for any future use, unless you change the duration again. We have grand kids visiting a lot, and you can't count on them to turn off the fan. Which means we could be pushing large volumes of conditioned air outside for hours. This is a very convenient fail safe option for that, saves money in the long run. Out of four I purchased, one was defective. But I got that one from the Amazon Warehouse, so I assume it was a defective return that got mixed in with the stock to be resold. Not really a problem, although it did take a half hour of trouble shooting to determine it was a defective switch. Still, the Warehouse price more than makes up for the inconvenience in this one particular case. I've looked at home automation for lighting controls, and frankly this sort of switch appeals to me more. I've put Lutron motion sensor switches in several closets and the furnace room. There is no need to learn a new user interface, no worries that the software will become outdated, your privacy is maintained (a lot of digital solutions are controlled at servers maintained by the manufacturer); and finally, the cost is a lot lower for this sort of low-tech home automation. It makes the house more comfortable to live in. In the laundry room, for example, I can walk in with a full load of laundry and no free hand, and the lights just come on. I leave and don't have to worry about shutting off the light, because it will go off in five minutes anyway.

Great Replacement of Manual Switch on Bathroom Fan
Installation was easy, but was a tight fit between another switch and a receptacle. It operates perfectly. I could not find the ivory-colored unit anywhere, so was happy to get it from Amazon.

Works great for bathroom fan
After I first installed it there was some weird behaviour - it kept turning off and on over and over. However since then it has not happened again. However this is great for the bathroom fan - can leave it running after having a steamy shower and it will help remove the condensation.
