I don't normally write reviews but in this case I decided that it was worth it. I ordered the full set of carbide chisels including the handle. They arrived sooner than predicted and inside the delivery box, each item is contained within it's own plastic box. Each chisel is an 11.9mmx11.9mm bar which is a good fit into the handle. All of these items are well machine to a high standard and the quality is well above that suggested by the price. Each chisel has a very solid feel and I would have no problems turning a large bowl with these. The carbide tips provided are sharp and produce a good finish. Although the latter is not quite as good as more traditional chisels (which I also use) it only requires an extra grade of sand paper to improve the surface. They are far easier to use than standard chisels. Overall I am very pleased and can recommend then especially to those new to wood turning who don't want a long learning curve. Because these are sent from China, the delivery time is longer than many alternatives however the price is considerably cheaper than other brands.

Quick delivery arrived within 4days. Well packaged. Each cutter is individually housed in it's own plastic case, lightweight handle but solid , cutters very sharp and fix to square shaft precisely, the shaft being able to be fully adjustable inside the handle should space be at a premium around your lathe is very handy, a lot better made than expected, excellent value for money, would recommend highly

as a novice woodturner they are of good quality and easy to use for most tasks.

I love how easy thay are to use thay are very sharp which makes for accurate detail work and for the quality of these items thay are top value for money

Only used once but seem well made and did the job great.

I find these chisels are easier to use than the standard wood turning chisels but be careful they are REALLY sharp.Good product ,great price.

Ordered these after tons of research, they are well weighted and cut through hardwoods like a hot knife through butter. The handle is solid but a bit light, there is plenty of room inside if you want more weight. The blades are easy to change and don't need a sharpen like traditional tools. Around I think this was a good investment.

Really nice set of carbide tools. All came really well packaged, good weight to the tools and really easy to work with. My one issue it the quality of the carbide tips. They are on the lower end of quality. They work fine but definitely don’t last as long as some of my others. For the money they are good investment.

These lathe tools are really great. They cut easily and have multiple sharp edges. The extendable handle is really nice. The kit should have at least two handles. I would buy one or two extra handles if I could find them on Amazon so I do not have to keep changing out the cutters as I work on the lathe.Honest John

It's my phone had a better camera I would have pictures. However when putting the carbide tips onto the bar and screwing them down the threads for the screw or not cut properly. When I would tighten it down the carbide tip shifted and could wiggle in place. Though the screw was very tight. The head for the head was poorly finished and not really suitable for a wood turning hand tool.ON THE GOOD SIDEYour value from the tool is good. The concept of it, having the adjustable length is awesome. Just make sure you double check your tool before using.
