This hat with the short bill is just what I hoped it would be. A nicely designed hat that doesn't overwhelm the head or have too big of a sun visor bill on it. It is very attractive for a lady to wear. It will be nice for sunny days and nice for cooler windy days to protect the top of my head and still look cute just right for a lady to wear. I'm sure men would like this style also if their main goal was to keep the sun off a bald head or their head warm when it is cold but not want a hat with a big bill on the front of it. This hat is also very well made, tailored nicely in all respects. I like how the long adjustable strap in the back is designed to tuck into the back hem and doesn't hang or stick out. It is a well thought out designed cap. I rarely need to wash any of my hats, because I know if you do no hat will ever look as good as they do before you wash them the first time, but I do believe this hat, since it is so well made, would survive several washing machine washings. Though it is a true military designed hat it looks very smart on the top of my head, so much better than those typical sun billed hats similar to this design. It is a very smart comfortable little hat. It looks little, but I have a big head and it fits great and it can be adjusted much bigger or smaller than I need to wear it. The tapered way this hat is designed it should fit just about everybody's head. It is very adjustable and sits right on the head.

It looks good, fit is a little large for me, but not drastically. I have a small head. Overall, I’m very satisfied.

Good work hat

Well, folks, I ventured into the Amazon jungle (the online one, mind you) and emerged with a black hat that's more mysterious than my Aunt Edna's meatloaf recipe. The hat, a dapper piece, seemed well-crafted, like it could survive a few rounds of my neighbor's barbeque parties.But here's the kicker - the brim was much shorter than expected. It's like expecting a Texas-sized steak and getting a slider instead. Now, I know I've been accused of having a big head, but at 6 3/8 inches, it was a tight fit with the strap all the way. It felt like trying to squeeze into my high school jeans - a humbling experience.So, if your noggin's on the grander side of the spectrum, you might want to skip this hat. It's off to find a new home, hopefully with someone who appreciates a snug fit and a modest brim. As for me, I'm on the hunt again, maybe for something with a bit more room – like Texas.

Nicely made, well stitched. Material is very pliable and the brim is formable. Really like. Adjustable and the extra strap after adjusting can be slid into to hat to hide and not flap around.
