NO, NO, NO, Neatsfoot is only for true leather boots, jackets and on and on. It will break down Goretex boots. Use the concentrated suede cleaner to safely remove dirt and grime from suede, nubuck, canvas and GORE-TEX boots. I hope this helps.

I have never used it on a suede jacket to be honest. What I can tell you is I use it to soften my leather riding tack. For example, brand new bridles, reins, saddles. And sometimes show boots around the ankle.
