Very good mount
Great quick release for my mono pod. It attaches firmly and Iโm very happy with th ease of use. I also really like the thumb screw that attaches the plate to the camera. It has a small flip down handle in addition to the slot for a coin to install it. Very useful addition that I didnt even know I was getting.

This is the one
High quality, durable, super strong and not cheap! Fits a lot and camera and tripod perfect. Sleek and stable design, compatible with all my canon gear. Well worth it and highly recommend this one!

Now you can have interchangeable QD on all your cameras and lights.
I have bought five of these so far. I make YouTube videos and have several tripods with different quick connect mechanisms that do not work interchangeably. I have been looking for a single kind of quick connect that I can put on all my tripods, cameras and lights and these are perfect. Each one includes the base you can screw onto a tripod and an upper part that screws onto the camera or light. They click together easily and have a lock setting. Now I can easily switch cameras and lights around easily. I also use some magnetic lights so I was able to attach one of these upper units to a small 1.5 x 1.5 inch steel plate, so now I can attach a magnetic light to any of my tripods. The only limitation I see would be if you have a heavy camera with a very long lens. I'm not sure these are big enough for such a load, but they work great with my DSLR, GoPro Hero, and assorted lights that I use. They are inexpensive enough to put them on all my photographic equipment!

Very Good item
This is the cheap version of an other brand. It is small and nicely built. You can lock it. Easy to remove. I use it for the light and phone on my photobooth. It work great. It is not that expensive. This help me reduce on setting up time by 25%.

Very easy but not rock solid
This quick release is great in that you can pop your camera on the tripod easy, just push it on and it snaps in place. The problem is that there is some "play" in the mechanism so that the camera is not rock steady. You'll have a little wiggle in the connection so if you need a solid connection you should look elsewhere.

Simple, Robust, and Convient Mount Solution for Quick Field Use
This is exactly the type of quick mount solution I was seeking to use with my monopod in the field. It is very nicely machined, compact, and simple to use. I looked at many different similar products, but this one stood out among the rest due to the small size, lack of protruding levers, and the ability to affix the camera onto it in any direction. And it doesn't overhang the top of my monopod. In a word, it's ideal.

Works perfectly, would buy again.
Used with a trail cam on my trailer. This was must have for me and it's working perfectly. So now I don't have to unscrew camera everday (I have to check camera everyday). Would definitely buy again.

It works, but some annoying issues.
This generic brand quick release plate looks like the Ulanzi one, but isn't compatible with Ulanzi's so heads up there. I bought three of these and while they do work, there are some annoying issues with them. - As mentioned above they are not compatible with Ulanzi's quick release Claw system. It looks like they would work, but these are slightly off and will not finish clamping. - The rubbers adhesive is weak. If you put on the plate and tighten it up, when you take of the plate you may rip the rubber stamp off. I've attached an image happening to one of my QR plates. - It's wobbly. I double checked to make sure everything was tight, but using this on a gimbal leg I found the release plate added substantially more wobble then without it. There is a little give on the quick release plate where as on the Ulanzi there isn't any. This is very noticeable when your camera is a little further away from the mount because of the pendulum effect. Where as the quick release just moved a little, by the time it got to the top of the gimbal the wobble was very noticeable. - Lastly the thumb tab on the bottom of the plate sticks and sometimes won't go back to flush. If this happens you CANNOT insert the plate fully in, and it won't go unless you pick up whatever you have the plate attached to and force the tab back. It's very annoying. I like the metal portion of the build, and the lock does work fine. But with the wobbliness of the connection along with some of the build quirks shows why this product is priced lower. For anyone looking at this, if you want a QR system that works but you would like to save money and you don't plan on using it for Gimbals or anything outside a smaller camera just sitting close to the quick release mount, I do suggest this. If you are looking for something that's machined a little better and doesn't have these small issues, spend a little more and get the Ulanzi ones.
