IK15 Ink Remover Kit

I had high hopes this product would save my bag. It ruined it. Don’t buy!

I tried other options that I found on internet posts but the ink stayed put. I took a chance with this product, even though it is expensive, because it was the only one I could get delivered overnight. It worked amazingly well!!! I have written two or three reviews ever, and this merits one. I was careful to only dab on the ink, not reuse the swabs, dab solution off in between applications when I switched to a clean swab. The conditioner restored the finish. It took about four swabs to get the two pen strokes out. I think at most it took ten minutes. You just have to go slowly. The ink was on mid-grey leather. The pen mark had been on the leather a few days as I tried other commercial options available locally. I was sure it was set but after applying the conditioner it looks the same as before. I’m so impressed.

This stain on my creamy white leather chair is a mystery. Maybe from a kid’s shoe or from blue jeans or some other clothing item with nonfast dye. I wish I could have had this remover before a guest tried cleaning it and before I tried leather cleaner/conditioner and another brand of leather cleaner. I think it would have worked even better. I received the remover today and immediately applied it. I really needed a bigger applicator as the area was as spread as a, well, small person’s seat. I’m pleased with the results which are far from perfect, but it saved a $250 counter stool!I will be watching out for guests’ pants from now on! We had a 4th of July party on July 3rd and another the next day and we’re out of town the 7th and another birthday party on the 9th, so this stain has sat for a week! (There was some stain on a second chair, but not as bad. Ugh! People, please be good guests. I’ve spent $82 on various products to get this out. Wish I’d seen this one first.

I have some really nice Crate and Barrel chairs. There was an ink pen mark on one of them. When I used this remover, I noticed the ink was going nowhere and there was some minor transfer of the leather color on to the qtips and other items provided. Before it got any worse, I stopped using the product and sent it back.

Tired to use this for a ball point pen mark on leather car interior and it didn’t work
