Use it Every Day!
I have the older version of this tray, and it works perfectly! I’ve had mine for two years now and it’s way better than ones I’ve had previously. It’s super easy to set up and take off. The ONLY thing that I have issue with is that sometimes the orange bumper comes off, and this is probably just because I added a steering wheel cover. I eat my lunch on it every day at work and it has never let me down once. If you’re thinking of buying this tray for your car, do it.

It is sturdy!!
I use it in the car to do some work. I am on the road alot and need to work on stuff and this is better then the steering wheel.

For my use it's fine, but it you want to use it for other things, think it over first.
Even with the adjuster rings, this didn't really fit my Nissan steering wheel securely. The edge points up, but it does go down when I put something on it. However, that puts pressure on the back of the steering wheel. I am concerned the "ears" would break off from that pressure. I tried it with both adjuster sizes and without anything. It just didn't fit the way I thought it should. It's small, yet I had to put my seat all the way back and lean it back to use it. I'm not sure how a larger person could move the seat back enough to comfortably use it.It was very easy to bump it off.A smaller computer or a pad would fit on it, but unless it fits your car/truck better than mine, it will be pressing the front edge down and pressing against the steering wheel. I don't feel confident it would stand up well if it had something heavier on it.A phone would certainly fit on it to watch videos etc. While it has an indention for a cup, I didn't feel safe putting a cup in there. A coffee cup might work, but a drink cup is tall and would be easy to knock over if you bump it. Hot coffee-I would just put that in my drink holder in the car and not take the chance. It did hold a hamburger and fries easily and that was actually nice to keep them off the seat. What I really wanted it for was drawing while sitting at the park, waiting in lines etc. It would be fine for a small pad of paper, like 5/7, but I didn't expect it to be large enough for 11x14 size pad. It was a good place to put pencils. I just placed the base of the pad on it and balanced it against the steering wheel. That's actually a better angle to draw from anyway. It works ok for what I wanted, but if you need it for some of the other things I mentioned, I would think it over.

Be careful seating a hot or full drink on this precarious perch
Between the desirable soft plastic surface of the steering wheel in my car and the orange silicone inserts to secure it on the steering wheel, I don't think I will put my drink on that tray while I eat my fast-food meal. The package comes with two pairs of rubber inserts to help with a firm fit for this tray on the steering wheel. The larger one was too big for my car, the smaller one fits but leaves waggle room.If I follow the enclosed direction and rotate my steering wheel half a circle, the trays ends up slanting down slightly to my lap. If I mount the tray when my 3-spoke steering wheel is in its upright position, the center spoke actually hold the tray higher and tips it slightly towards the dash. In my case, since there is no electronics or display in front of my steering wheel, this is the steering wheel position that works better for me. This particular tray is one of the more costly ones on Amazon and advertises to be fit my particular car. So much for validating theory in a real world! The tray itself feels rigid enough, but the mounted tray ends up kind of floppy and you have to be careful not to lean your wrist on its edge, especially if you have a cup of hot coffee in the shallow round indent for a cup. I already have the drivers seat elevated high to facilitate easy entry and exit from the car, and I always have the driver's seat set far back for safety in case of a hard braking in crazy traffic. Yet, I find my wrists brushing the tray which easily tilt the tray towards me. I can easily see this happening if I'm eating lunch in my car and chatting with my passenger. If you have more than two cups holders between the driver and passenger, or you keep your cup holders free of your smartphone , key fob or remote controls, I'd recommend keeping your drinks in the built-in cup holders in your car. Maybe a plain round hole that fits take-out coffee and soda cups would work better than the shallow cup indent. Unfortunately, all the steering wheel trays offered on Amazon currently appears to have the same design!I like the fact that this tray hides nicely between the outer edge of the passenger's seat and the middle support of the car frame, but I'd like to see a tray with a more robust and adaptable design.

Best one on Amazon, THANK YOU
The media could not be loaded. I ordered a ton of similar ones on Amazon to see which is best but this is the only one compatible with a wheel cover. Thank you for making one that works - otherwise removing and putting the wheel cover back on was going to be a huge headache! - Writing this review because I saw the product is currently unavailable, so I guess I just bought one of the last ones in stock for the moment. I want to let you guys know I really appreciate you making this product - it’s a small but simple thing that will improve my quality of life and yours is the ONLY one that works. Here’s hoping you restock so more people with wheel covers can use one of these - this is a unique/differentiated product that’s actually usable for me!

It does not fit, even though it is adjustable
I paid about $19 for this steering wheel tray. It claims that it fits most standard wheels - with or without a cover, but even after I took off my cover, it did not fit. Also, it claims/states it is anti-scratch, but it scratched up my wheel.

Not compatible with semi-trucks
Bought this for a semi truck, seemed the most promising from what I could find, but didn’t see anything in the description or comments that said it would not be compatible.
