This is an excellent keyboard for the iPad
When you purchase something on-line customer service is what you value the most. This is an excellent keyboard for the iPad, but I developed a problem with the hinge. I contacted i-Ginko. Not only did they respond the same day, they shipped a replacement that evening. I can't stress enough how impressive that is. I use this keyboard with my iPad all day for work. It makes the iPad 2 look like a MacBook Air - only much lighter. It makes working with projects on the iPad much faster. Love this product,but love the customer service more!!

It was far heavier than I expected. Not really a "Case" as more a metal shell. Due to there being NO shock protection at all, aka no rubber or any sort of actual shock resistance I am afraid if you drop it the metal case will simply transfer the force directly to the pad and destroy it like two steel balls swinging transfer their kinetic energy. Also the case covers the lightning port so tight that only the apple short cord will fit it. If you like to use after market longer charging cords, they wont fit, that cut needs to be 2mm larger. Over all, it makes for a NICE laptop look, but then it makes it 3 times as heavy and bulkier than a macbook air. I intend to keep it, simply because no one else has anything else as close. I just wish it was lighter, had some shock system, and the port was bigger. Version 2 maybe?

Loved this keyboard but it stopped working after 10 months. I looked at the details of the keyboard and found instructions on setting it up. I did this and voila! The keyboard is now working! So glad as I love this Bluetooth Keyboard.

Usb port does not work for my ipad air 2
I just bought this keyboard, it looks nice and is functional. I took 1 star off because the usb port does not charge my ipad air 2, but it does charge my android phone.

Do not buy. Lost a column of keys after 3 months. Reached out to get a return. They emailed 2x then stopped replying after multiple attempts to reach out.
