Pete the Cat has become a huge part of our family routine, and this 12-Book Phonics Fun! set has been an absolute treasure for my 2 1/2-year-old daughter. She loves Pete the Cat so much that we’ve started watching the cartoon together on Amazon Prime, and she even gets a Pete the Cat sticker every morning before school. It’s become such an important routine for her that skipping it would lead to a meltdown!These books are the perfect size for little hands, and they’re so easy to read. The stories are simple but engaging, with a phonics-based structure that makes them great for helping young children learn to read. Even at her age, my daughter knows the stories so well that she can tell me what’s happening on each page. She doesn’t always get the words exactly right, but her enthusiasm and understanding are incredible to watch.What I really love about Pete the Cat is how wholesome and positive the character is. His stories teach important lessons about sharing, kindness, and being a good friend—all in a way that’s fun and easy for kids to understand. Great book for beginners.

My 4 year old loves Pete the cat so i got him this book set bc he has started to read & it’s been maybe 2 weeks since i bought the set & he has improved so much we take turns reading lines now! My 2 year old loves these books as well. We read them every night. Buy them.

We noticed our 3 year old picking up an interest in reading, we purchased the Pete the Cat phonics books to help develop her interests further.She really enjoys the 12 short stories and has read a few pages of each book which is helping her learn to read and build confidence in reading.The build quality of the books aren’t the best as they are all stapled paper backs, but you are getting 12 short stories for around $10 so the quality in the assembly is bound to be shotty. The print quality of the books are great, and there were no noticeable defects in the print or text.Overall this was a decent purchase for my developing reader. I would recommend; 4 out of 5 stars.
