They work great, they’re very few places that carry rocket engines where I live so it was super convenient to order from Amazon and the prices are reasonable

If you really want to lose your rocket... I recommend these engines, LOL. They are great fun for a calm day - get your cardio on, and be ready to squint to find your rocket in the sky when it gets to apex - these engines will take it there. Binoculars are a good idea. If you want, you can weigh your rocket down a bit - but where's the fun in that? If you want shorter run distance, or a better chance of seeing the payload eject to follow the parachute, use smaller engines. :) For the price, if you only use 1, that's no good - so definitely use in a larger rocket spec'd for these babies and go recover it for launch after launch of fun! Worth every penny to see the faces on the ones who came back from chasing the rocket down! (hack/wheeze, LOL!)

We had lots of fun building and flying the rockets. Just make sure you have the other accessories need to make this launch.

Haven't had any misfires. We keep our engines in sawdust in a woodbox. I tell kids do not place incendiary devices in wet places. Moisture will not help things that are supposed to blow up.

Used these with the Estes Journey rocket kit. The rocket flew very high. So high in fact that our rocket drifted so far while parachuted that we lost it in the woods by the field almost 1000 yards from the launch site in low wind conditions. I’m buying less powerful ones next time.

I didn't know how strong these engines were until we fired them off in the rockets. Great deal, flew high, fast, and farther than any other one out that day.
