This pad is a very nice 3" thick and the contours makes the seat comfortable longer. I expect it to last a year or so. The sitting side has has a vented fabric that should stay relatively cool in summer. The bottom has bumps that keep it in place when sitting relatively still and traveling flat surfaces. The bumps don't make the cushion "truly non-slip" when faces with bigger challenges. The bumps do discourage users from flipping the cushion over in the event of an unexpected accident. We have talked about adding velcro to the bottom for a more secure seat. The cushion fits nicely in our small 19" wide wheelchair. There is a flat fabric handle along the side of the cushion that makes it easier to carry when not in use. The carry bag, which I thought would be fancier, is like the free packaging that comes on a bed pillow or sheet set at a department store. It has worked to keep the cushion clean in the trunk of the car, but it isn't something I'd carry on a plane.

The zipper on the carrying case was broken when I received it, and the sharp plastic cut my finger when I first unzipped it. Not impressed with that at all (why such cheap material for something that will be zipped/unzipped frequently, in the first place?). Not sure how it slipped by quality control but definitely a frustrating (and painful) way to open a supposedly brand new product.Other than that:This is initially fairly comfy and it's nice that it's got a carrying case as well as a handle. My qualms are that the hole for the tailbone is a little too narrow to actually take the pressure off a (broken) tailbone. On every other coccyx cushion I have, the hole is about 1/2-1 inch wider to ensure that pressure is actually relieved. This just feels like a square cushion, not specifically a coccyx cushion. Also, the foam is too thick at the front of the cushion so circulation to the legs gets cut off a bit--other cushions taper the width at the front so it's more comfortable to sit on. I'm about 5'5", 145lbs so I wouldn't recommend this one if you are of a similar size, especially if you are using it for a tailbone injury. Might be fine if you just need a regular cushion to sit on. The thickness issue might get better over time as the foam flattens out, if I do keep it and it improves, I'll update this review.

I ordered this cushion to use in my car to relieve pressure on my lower back. From a quality perspective I would say this is top notch. The cover appears to very durable. The cushion itself is very firm and much better than any other cushion I have seen. The reason for 4 stars is the cushion is very contoured which might be great if it was being used on a completely flat surface. However, when used in a car bucket seat the sides are pushed up even further which does two things: 1. put undo pressure on the outside of your leg and 2. makes the surface area much smaller. I have thick muscular thighs so unfortunately using in my car doesn't work. I would highly recommend getting this if you were using it on a hard chair, bench, bleacher, or couch. If it was flat and not contoured I would definitely be keeping this cushion.

I sit a computer all day st work and I found that by noon I was in pain. A pain in the you know what is no fun. I contemplated just bringing a pillow to work but realized that would look a bit tacky. I started looking online and found there are cushions specially made for this purpose. Afternoon going through the options and reviews, I found this one to be the best value. The reviews were great and the price was of the least. I have been using it for a couple of days now and have to say I have not had any pains since using it. So far so good. I'm totally pleased with my purchase. Additionally, the customer service is great. They actually took the time to send me an email asking if I was satisfied. They asked me to reply to the email if I was satisfied or not. After I replied they replied back to me and that's when I knew there was a real person on the other side and not just an automated email asking for my review. I would recommend this product to anyone suffering from this type of pain or problem.

The cushion is thick which is nice. My issue with it is two fold. 1) You have to push your butt right up to the back of the seat in order to not feel like you're sliding off it. 2) It needs to be a little wider (probably says more about the size of my butt than it does the product). But, once I position myself on it, it's comfortable. I just wish I could sit right down and be comfortable from the get go and not have to "position" myself.

I use this cushion in my office chair. I doubt that I'd buy it again. The cushion shape and density seems good however the cover is just too darn scratchy and uncomfortable. You simply cannot sit on this cushion if you are in shorts or in thin pants.

Purchased this product because it had a handle. But discovered it had a lot of other great qualities. I use these pillows due to a sciatic nerve condition and because I need a little elevation when I sit in order to make it easier to get up. This pillow meets both needs and I am extremely satisfied. About the handle. I walk with two canes and had been trying to stuff a pillow under my arm in order to carry it with me. This little handle has changed my world. Guess you can tell I am a satisfied customer!Update:Have had this pillow for over a year. It is still the best pillow I have ever purchased. It has not flattened out, is still supportive and none of the materials have deteriorated at all! This one is a winner and well worth every penny.

I found this to be very large. I'm a petite person, so the cushion did not fit in the right places. It seemed to be well made. Returned this one, but still looking for a smaller one.
