pricey
I have always used Clam ice shelters and have been happy with them. my biggest concern is the weight, not so much with pulling but lifting it in and out of my truck(getting old). the Kenai pro stealth is 50lbs empty which is about my max when you factor in the awkwardness of lifting something with your arms spread out three feet off the ground. Over all it seems to be pretty good quality, the tub sits higher than my other sleds which i like, the seat is comfortable that slides on two bars that span the length of the tub, the fabric seems like it will be durable ( not the thin stuff with the black coating that cracks and lets lights in), and it comes with a light bar thats built into one of the tent poles, the only problem with it is you need a 12 volt battery to run it and i don't need the extra weight. there are just a couple of issues, first is the way the poles are hinged, everything is being held on by two 1/4-20 bolts- yes all the poles are bolted to a plate but that plate is not being held by much, also you use nylock nuts on the assembly where the bolt doesn't come contact with the nylon so i had to thread the bolt through the nut then remove the bolt turn the nut around and reinstall so the bolt goes through the nylon first, longer bolts are not an option because of the design of the whole hinge setup. also and not a big deal, the pull rope that comes with it is way to short. Overall i'm happy with it I just wonder if the engineers that design this stuff actually use it.
