This thing is somewhat large and heavy relative to my kid's size but he definitely has fun with it, abuses it quite a bit and it hasn't failed. He hauls it around and has a lot of fun with it. The mechanism feels strong and positive, definitely not cheap or weak feeling construction. The darts shoot out with some power and make a whistling noise when going through the air. The darts have a foam body and medium density rubber heads, enough weight to feel when you get hit but not enough to hurt anyone unless they got shot in the face close range. Definitely happy with the purchase.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get a nerf blaster for fun, having whistling darts the size of a hot dog bun is one of the most most enjoyable experience I have had firing a blaster.The darts are more accurate than standard darts but don't fly as far as some other blasters.only issue is the size as it can be fairly uncomfortable for younger people.

I bought this for my nephew and he was absolutely floored. The gigantic darts are intimidating and everybody starts laughing when somebody gets pelted by one of these giant monsters in the face.10/10
