She's had her trumpet since the fifth grade. It came with a small mouthpiece. This mouthpiece is an upgrade and designed for a high-school aged player. It arrived very quickly in a beautiful box. It is very pretty. The sound is very good. Parents should expect to need to replace the mouthpiece of the trumpet periodically as the child grows.
