I own a 12" memory foam mattress that is California King sized. It is not easy to hoist up alone, but I was able to remove the cover it came with and install this one all by myself. And I'm a housewife who is not in good shape :)I thought the cover itself was pretty decent. It was marked 9" thickness (your mattress thickness) but on the packaging it states that it stretches from 9"- 18" which I could believe. It fit our mattress no problem. Material on top is not very stretchy, and definitely makes sounds when you're moving around on it. Also, If you are going to use a sheet on top of this you'll want to use sheet keepers - those stretchy clip things that keep the corners on. Everytime I turned over at night the sheet was very slippery on top of this encasement. I ended up washing the old cover in very hot water and putting it back on over the top of this encasement because it was too slippery to keep the sheet on and I toss and turn alot.Overall I really like this product, I thought it does what the manufacturer describes and my husband said he sleeps better now that it is on. I think our mattress had alot of dust, or dust mites on it so hopefully it will help long turn.

First off the price for this item is amazing!!!! See I recently bought a mattress because of a bed bug problemI ran into and the mattress store wanted to charge me 150 for a product similar to this one.i purchased thisfor second time now. for our new Leesa mattress,I have been sleeping on it for a few weeks. The first thing I want to say is that it issoft and quite, no crackly sound. I must say the quality is great,I have had other mattress protectors before and they were plasticy and made you sweat at night, this fabricallows your skin to breathe while keeping you on your mattress safe. We got bedbugs from apartment neighborssince putting the encasement on we have not suffered with bed bugs since, although we did also steam ourbedroom carpet and deep cleaned it. We never ever saw any bed bugs!I feel confident and safe that our bed bugs are 100% GONE!strong and perfect forkeeping dust and mites etc in or out of mattress. Very well designed encasement.Needless to say, I am a very, very happy customer, Will buy more.!

This is a great solution to protect your entire mattress from future dust mite (or any critter) infestation. We just got a new bedroom suite and wanted to keep our bed pristine for a long time. It's a bit of a struggle to put on--I did it by myself but I recommend 2 people do it -- but that is because a King Size mattress is heavy to lift and pull the encasement around. It fits perfectly and gives us peace of mind and keeps us free from dust mites--highly recommended.

This didn't fit on my 11 inch queen mattress. I also noticed that some of the seams were tearing before it even went on. Had to return.It was nice and thin so if it fit I think it would have been unobtrusive.

Easy to put onto mattress. Does not make any noise due to the waterproof material of the mattress pad, very quite. Soft material. Very happy with this purchase. I would recommend! Fast Shipping!
