Every month I have to adjust this thing by 2 mins.Who has ever heard of a digital clock that is off by even a few seconds a year, NOT TO MENTION A FEW MINUTES PER MONTH??? Do not buy this.Hopefully mine is a defect item and the others don't do this, but this review is on the unit I received. It's bad and broken.

Overall perfect ... only negative is instructions printed on clock are not necessarily intuitive for elderly once written instructions aren't easily on hand.

I guess that's all I can really say. If you have a problem with sleeping through an alarm this is the one for you! This alarm might wake the dead! But also, you can adjust the sound and the light. It can be as bright and as loud, or as dark as you want.We plug it in. No battery. We really appreciate it because my husband will sleep through his phone's alarm and be late to work. It's horrible. It's totally his fault, but also, not his fault. He's never slept through this alarm! Recommend for sure!

It looks good in the room. My son has it across the bedroom so he can see it easily at night while laying in bed. It's plenty bright enough without being annoying. Haven't used the alarm function yet. I would definitely recommend just based on how it looks (like a quality alarm clock) and the fact that you can easily read the time during the day and at night.
